Our family loves the Fort wilderness ,we stayed at cabins we loved it so much we bought a Rv so we can stay often!❤️ I wish they wouldn’t change the cabins we love the way they are.🥲
Gracey sure did seem to like the dogpark. She's a beautiful pupper Nate. Our Osceola is very nervous around people she doesn't know , so I appreciate the fact that ypu don't force things like that on Gracey. I hope you both had a great time.
These cabins should stay relatively the way they are!..They are awesome...The entire resort is awesome...Nate, you are like a kid again staying here...So glad Gracie got to join you,..You love her so much...Seeing the horses is such a bonus to this awesome place and Chip and Dale's Sing a Long, Wow!..Sorry to see Trails End shut down and PB & J's out of commission...You were so lucky to get into Hoop de Doo...Such an awesome stay cation you had...You were an adoreable Angel!!! I worked at the Fort, first as a housekeeper in the cabins and then custodial. It’s my favorite resort on Disney property. And yes, we cleaned the dog park. :)
I hardly ever write comments. But, I had to congratulate you on being called to join the cast on the stage. And, receiving the certificate signifying that you are a member of the Pioneer Hall Players is a significant achievement! I literally get called on to join the cast EVERY TIME my family and I go to Hoop-Dee-Doo...It's a running joke with my family. I think they look for a certain type...Generally stocky bald guys(myself included) that would look ridiculous wearing wings. Nonetheless, it never gets old, and is always really special. Anyway, it looks like you and your dog had tons of fun at Fort Wilderness. I can't wait to take our new Cockapoo to the cabins! Thanks for the excellent review!

We have stayed in the cabins several times in the Handicap cabins and really loved it. I am not a fan of the new DVC cabins that are going to replace the current cabins. They just don't fit with the atmosphere of the campground, they are too modern looking. We have also stayed at the campground in our camper. The Fort Wilderness Campground is a great place to stay with plenty to do without ever going to the parks.

Hoop-Dee-Doo Review is seriously underrated. The entire menu, for the exception of the baked beans and dessert, are great! I make it a point to visit during every single Disney trip.

These current (old) cabins are so amazing. I think they are better than the current standard wildnerness lodge rooms! All the new refurbished stuff really takes away from the theme. It's a shame

We had our family vacation in the cabins this past January!! It was amazing and all twelve of us stayed in 3 cabins in a row all together. We did Hoop De Doo and the whole experience made the best trip!! ❤

Fort Wilderness is, in my opinion, the best place to stay at WDW. Don't forget to watch the water electrical parade from the beach. - Have stayed in the cabins too (RV is preferred), and the decor is amazing.

That house in the woods @17min is an old cabin/shed. Back in 2004 you could take a golf cart road past it. Not sure if it was an "official" road for guests, lol.

My family and I went to Fort Wilderness in january 2018, and we loved the place, the cabins, everything. I would like they don´t change the cabins, this layout is so beautiful and cozy.
We love Fort Wilderness and our dog loves it to. It's a great place to take your dog because all of the amenities available for them!!!!!! She is so precious and looks like she is very happy there:)
