Really enjoyed the bass solo, he really was exploring and inventing all the time but never lost sight of this fabulous melody which was there all the time with its unique changes.

Lage is amazing. Something is afoot in jazz guitar in Europe. Even though he studied here.Lage, Romaine Pilon man these two dudes are beast. Also check Lage's comping. very interesting. What voice leading. totally on point.

I am already a fan of the guys you mentioned, I have been on team Jesse for years. Like I said something is happening in Europe! I am thinking of moving! The Dutch guys are all from Wim and they are great!

Too slow. It dies. Too bad - a great Jerome Kern standard.

Only a few clicks faster. The new play everything legato jazz playing is a lot more subdued than the be/hard/post-bop influenced way of digging into every note.
On top of all that, it's a matter of direction and how Lage Lund conceptualizes music that you may not like. He isn't my cup of tea, but I understand what he is going for.

I think this tempo makes the song sound real bluesy
