As you venture into the ice laden base, you need to fight Brevon’s bots for the others to get through. Your second, and final, bout with Dail is up ahead.
In sonic you cannot breeze through enemies without getting hit. In this most enemies can only hurt you with their attacks instead of contact damage which also make them more dynamicly animated. Sonic 3 and kuckles still best imo tho....I think
"In sonic you cannot breeze through enemies without getting hit." Id say its the opposite in sonic 3 you could use the insta-shield to dodge and hit enemies at the same time or you could dodge them kill them in one hit and keep going. Meanwhile in freedom planet you often find yourself having to slow down to attack enemies or you can try and run past them and then get hit because the game isn't designed around you doing that.
"Meanwhile in freedom planet you often find yourself having to slow down to attack enemies or you can try and run past them and then get hit because the game isn't designed around you doing that." Yeah, because Freedom Planet is designed around attacking the enemies while mantaining the flow. That's why you have attacks like Lilac's Uppercut and Downward Kick, or Carol's Wild Claw, so you can defeat enemies while chaining into other actions, creating some sort of "combo" that the player himself needs to find out how to use effectively. (Now, you can say the same for Classic Sonic, but the thing is that it's very easy to lose all your momentum because of touch damage, and since you're going pretty fast in those games...well, people like me tend to get hit...A LOT XDD)
After beating that mini boss hearing the calming start of this song is super welcoming
This theme is amazing! Just wow! I really hope galaxytrail made money with this game.
Well they made enough to make a sequel.
Le Dapper Greninja But not enough for a Switch or Vita port
Gunvolt are you sure about that? *Picks up switch*
@@ikaraiden4368
Switch port acquired!
I don't blame them for not making a Vita port though. That just be a waste of resources.
@@ikaraiden4368 a Vita Port was planned but got cancelled iirc
The whole Freedom Planet soundtrack really blew my mind, can't wait for FP2!
I memorized the first part in my brain for good.
I'm feeling some Stardust Speedway and Collision Chaos vibes in this soundtrack.
Very energetic, yet chill track! The calm before the storm...
Anyone else got a Metroid Prime vibe from this?
Yes!
Phendrena Rifts
Douglas Levin for sure Metroid Prime
Both act 1 and 2 give me that vibe xD

BOOOM!
OH YES!
my fav part
Best song in this soundtrack imo
kinda feel reminiscent of the night stages from Sonic Unleashed, Cool Edge especially
I don't know how, but at 0:30 the music went from Kingdom Hearts to Mega Man.
2:25 My favorite part of this theme music.
Launch Base zone.
Availace version.
Plus Sonic Advance 2's final boss
00:00-02:55
Brevon: Stop introduction and TEAR THEM!!!
02:55 - YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is almost like from Sonic 3 & Knuckles theme iced stage.
Getting sad :(
For some reason, certain parts in the background music remind me of super paper Mario. Anyone know what I'm talking about?
Egg Rocket Zone (from Sonic Advance) reference anyone?
Freedom Planet is good at everything Sonic is bad at.

Classic sonic I meant (1,2,3..), mostly cause its what this game can be compared to, taked influence from

Modern sonic games are flawed in other aspects. Such as artificial speed, abundance of scripted sections and overusage of speedpads, etc.

Reminds me of ZX, and especially X4's music.
