Most people don't but if you play with sound on you can hear it too. It's really great because it makes it so you can basically just run through the center of an area. Between that and the Triangulation nobody seemed to know about, I'm not surprised so many people dislike elites. They're making them so much harder than they need to be :P
If you have the Support Cape, you can put both 8 and 9 into the Support Cape and save a slot. The expert support cape perks are support from your 'max cape' perks.

Yeah, thanks for the comment. I'm aware some people use them, but I personally don't like it in my set up. Combo runes are so expensive as hell. Teleporting to falador every time I get an arrow clue costs me nothing in airs and waters, but combo runes would be a lot more. Personally I don't need the extra inv space. But if its helpful for you, then that's the main thing :D
Interesting. For arrows I tend to use to use one of the free teles like Manor Farm, Kandarin Monastery, Cabbageport, Edgeville (from sword), etc. Then I tend to avoid teleporting to an area that the first arrow points to, as this is very inexact. I figure that it will take a total of 3 teleports anyway, so instead I aim for something completely out of the way and more perpendicular/transverse to the first arrow (and where possible a free tele that uses no charges/runes). That way there's less fuzziness for the possible locations. For example, at 13:41 I would've tele'd to Lletya or Rellekka, etc. You'll notice that you basically didn't have to tele to the world gate, as the arrow from the Manor Farm sufficed for locking in the spot.
the inv space saved, doesn't give me anything else i need for elites tbh Once i summon my meerkat i have 1 free space anyway, so if i needed another item i can just chuck it in, dont need to combine capes. I get this message on every one of my clue videos xD If you like combining them, then more power to you :)
I run a similar inventory set up however I save space by having a firemaking cape slayer cape and dung cape in max cape which you can use the effects of from clue backpack.

Utilize an expert support skillcape (made with the skillcape shards) that has slayer cape and dungeoneering cape perks applied to it to save one inventory space. think of the possibilities!
Slayer Helmet on my base camp stand. Having a 2nd passage of the abyss with travelers necklace, ring of respawn, and all other jewelry not on the first passage of the abyss. EZPZ 😂
I used to do Lumby/Watchtower then go to the area with compass clues. I'll try the Falador method from now on. Also I found that with elites there aren't as many clues I use the globetrotter body to teleport straight to, so that's what I usually use the charges for when doing Elf Lands scans, but I'll try the quiver method a bit. I forgot they have unlimited charges for everywhere besides the death altar now. As a big clue hunter I'm really happy to see most of my methods already match yours. Just about to hit 2k hard clues completed today. :) Gonna open a couple hundred caskets.

Huh my go to is edgeville lodestone. If it goes top right, its either ED2, or daemonheim. if its not top right, either go eagles peak, or canifis to triangulate.
for any one having issue with the triangulation, you have to MOUSE OVER THE TEXT. right click and then alt 1 anyway is not good enough. got stuck on that 1 detail :S lol
Great video. I learned something! =) I noticed you right-click your summoning icon on the action bar in order to cast your familiar's special. Just in case you didn't know, you can left-click it to cast the special :D
You probs know this already but I put the dung & slayer capes on the support cape... but until they fix the right click option they're actually more click intensive I guess.
if u have the support cape (multiple 99 capes) u can put the slayer and dung capes in there to save another invent space, other then that, good guide :)
Also I don't know if this is true, but it was reported to me and I experienced it as well. The totems from Big Game Hunter are dropped in order and the Treasure Totem piece is the 3rd piece that is dropped, so you have to get the other two before you will get the one you want. Not sure if this is true, but it seems to be. First two pieces dropped in 65 kills. Finally got the Treasure piece at 192kc.
Celtic Knots, me and a clan mate have had same problem with Alt one, it shows the runes faded out, and so Alt 1 can't pick them up (Low graphics), so dropping it to Min graphics helps to make the runes show up on Alt 1.
hmmm, interesting. I haven't really had this issue, maybe rarely but i just click "solve" and it fixes it for me Thanks for the info though, might be something to do with it not being able to read your screen properly when you have high graphics as your gfx card cant keep up or something. Not sure.

I'm surprised you're not using an Expert Skillcape of Support. Combines the two, Slayer and Dungeoneering, into one slot - without needing to have / sacrifice a Max Cape's slots.
The alt+1 keybind thing didn't work for me, but if I just double click my location on the alt1 map it puts coordinates in the box I can click on to get the line
I would change your deep sea fishing hub portal in max guild garden to zanaris fairy ring to free up 2 slots and it doesnt cost materials. Love the video!

5 minutes per clue is SO much better than what i can manage to do elite clues in; even since the anachronia update w/ double surge and treasure totem ;;;;; im mad stupid at doing scan steps lmao.
It's just practice. Could always try using alt1 to help with scans with the minimap overlay. I showcase it in the video if you weren't aware it was a thing :D Also having teleports for everything helps tons, even if it means teleporting from one end of a scan clue to the other, cuts down run time.

Yeah, my account is 200m all and super progressed and I've been using it for 7 years, never had any issues and wouldn't risk my account if it wasnt safe
i got sick of farming shadows and got to thinking... arch glacor on normal with no mechanics will drop elites, as well as triskellions which also provide more elite clues. I find it much more efficient to farm arch glacor since the kills take ~ 20 seconds each and you get 3 drops per kill
I believe it gives around the same as shadows Although the new meta is the abyssal beasts in a POSD with a bik book! It's 11/hour + bik book being around 4-5 extra ontop :D

Is alt1 allowed? I thought Jagex used to be against ANY 3rd party clients... I'm just getting back into the game after about an 8 year break and I don't want to get banned.
Sometimes when it firsts opens it doesn't load all the runes. Try hitting alt1 again. Also when hovering, sometimes it takes a few seconds, so sometimes being patient helps a little bit in my experiences. I've had the same issues though, I know what you're talking about.
That arrow trick is gonna be a life saver. Also, 0.2 second on puzzle skip? Could just say you’re on drugs I got it set to 0.6 with auto start and keys
No really. 12:30 why isnt there a SINGLE help tip in the program saying to push alt-1 for that feature!? I mean missing the gear button for the clue puzzle slider is honestly on me since its only present when doing that. But the triangulation is legit a hidden feature? Like they dont even have a button or drop down menu for lode locations...
when i try to get the arrow clues done, i cant get the lines on the map like u do? not with right clicking the teleport and alt+1 but also not with the dubbleclick on the map
Tbh given how much you can make per hour making runes with wicked hood teles, I don't think they are worth using on clues. You will probably add more money from crafting runes vs time saved on clues.

For Taverley wheat u can still use taverley lodestone though or just use 120DG cape since its free in comparison to viswax.

I keep my left click set to take Bob for pvm and I right click for the special move like he does

You can just use ring of dueling to go to South of Feldip hills, which is a few blocks away from a spirit tree. Saves you 2 inv spaces.
Tokkul zo to the fight caves or the legends cape tele to outside the guild work as well, without charges.

@@MaikeruRS You are right. I compared it to my own setup but I use that for masters aswell. Masters have these 2 steps in the tzhaar environment I believe (emote clue and the cornillean rising dude). Thank you for the video!

i had Alt 1 lockt in my actionbar. i clear it but it wont let me secure the spot i telefport to. any ideals?
Is alt1 allowed? I thought Jagex used to be against ANY 3rd party clients... I'm just getting back into the game after about an 8 year break and I don't want to get banned.
alt1 is indeed allowed, i would be banned making videos/streaming it
You could reduce it down to one rune pouch if you buy steam and lava runes with laws

My alt 1 works fine for slider clues, but glitches out on knot puzzles even when i hover over 'invert'. Any ideas why?
Sometimes when it firsts opens it doesn't load all the runes. Try hitting alt1 again. Also when hovering, sometimes it takes a few seconds, so sometimes being patient helps a little bit in my experiences. I've had the same issues though, I know what you're talking about.
alt1 is and will be the only reason I do clues lmao

That arrow trick is gonna be a life saver. Also, 0.2 second on puzzle skip? Could just say you’re on drugs I got it set to 0.6 with auto start and keys

Alt + 1 doesn't work to pinpoint the compass arrow part anymore. I've tried many times. I think Alt1 has issues with it.

No really. 12:30 why isnt there a SINGLE help tip in the program saying to push alt-1 for that feature!? I mean missing the gear button for the clue puzzle slider is honestly on me since its only present when doing that. But the triangulation is legit a hidden feature? Like they dont even have a button or drop down menu for lode locations...
i can only get about 4-6 done an hour. i think i can do more if i get use to them but i dont really do them as much

Tbh given how much you can make per hour making runes with wicked hood teles, I don't think they are worth using on clues. You will probably add more money from crafting runes vs time saved on clues.

Once you got Runelite/Alt1, you never go back.
