I love how Adam is such a gentleman: When the host complained about all the little girls calling in, burning up the phones in hopes to talk to him, Adam said, "If there's a chance, let's take it." How gracious of him. He was like that in all the interviews when the hosts would belittle the young girls who swarmed around the studios, Adam was nice about it.
the host as you say was Not complaining & def not belitting them about the young girls calling in he was joking about how young teenage girls swoon etc etc was all in good taste / fun etc.just look at the comments to this by adult women they are Still saying how good looking he is etc instead of how great an artist he is etc sad really .are you from the USA by any chance?.
Vive le rock was even better but only got 50 in uk charts still I'm glad he played at live aid 1985 it was the highlight of the day for me being a big fan and a collector
First adam ant single was young Parisians on 7 inch Deutsche girls came out on jubilee album only it came out on 7 inch 1982 as adam and the original ants getting to no 13 in uk charts with plastic surgery on the b side both recorded for jubilee album in 1977
He actually contacted the Native American tribes and had them come to his concert and told them if they found anything offensive he would stop dressing in that fashion , but they approved him and loved his show and how he portrayed them and that he took the time to visit the tribe and cared about their feelings. He was a great guy with lots of respect to history and the ancestors who founded our country
