Nobody has ever called Delain Gothic Metal. But Symphonic Metal can be Gothic influenced like Walk in Darkness and Toal and they're fantastic. The only thing that defines Symphonic metal is incorporating orchestral instruments and arrangements into Metal, other than that it can have any influence it wants and it's the richer for it.
Neither does Symphonic Metal have to be Epic. It can be subtle and laid back (like with a Symphonic Metal Balad) and still be brilliant. Constant unrelentingly noisy Epic Metal can be boring and ear battering. There's a lot of that about at the moment. Mix it up a bit guys. The best Symphonic Metal Bands do that anyway, but there's very few of them at this level. 😔
The beauty of symphonic metal is every band has a unique sound and different influence.
Not at all. No. There are tons of clones in it.
An ethereal trance and dance Metal Vocalist? She's created a new genre. 😳🕺
I want Diana Leah to be my valentine !!!

Sometimes you have to take criticism as a grain of truth. Ignore it at your peril.
Not true, You've got Walk in Darkness and Kalidia from Italy with Nicoletta Rosellini. They're fantastic. 🤘
It's not a coincidence
