So many of us have fucked up life, while many of us give up, so many of us decide to deal with the shit instead of giving up, maybe he was one of the brave ones.
I did not say that he enjoyed his life. But it was a good decision to let him live. Just because someone is stuck in such body doesn't mean that WE get to DECIDE if they're worthy to live or not!
I have seen several kind of disabled people, one of them killed himself, but so many of them I've met, man they smile, they laugh, they make others smile, they speak nonsense but they sure as hell don't consider themselves as burden.
Unless YOU WANT TO LIVE and people around you don't think of you AS A BURDEN, no-one else has the right to say anything else.
I have a mentaly disabled cousin, she has more empathy than anyone I've ever met, she cares for people, she's a kid in a grown up body and she DESERVES to live.
EVERYONE DESERVES TO HAVE A CHANCE IN LIFE UNLESS IT'S THEIR TIME OR UNLESS THEY DON'T WANT THIS CHANCE.
I know you're looking at things statistically and as they appear, but they are just HUMANS, they deserve to live as much as any of us.
Human body is just a vessel,
      soul is what truly matters.
      IN MY OPINION.

@@emmaskye4681 You're right, offcourse he would have thought of killing himself, hell even perfectly normal people think of killing themselves, human mind always finds a problem or creates one.
But he didn't kill himself, and so many of them don't, they accept it and maybe they find a way or a reason to live.
I'm just saying that we cannot completely understand how they feel unless we go through it, we can just assume and imagine based on what we watch and listen.
But as long as I've watched and listened, there's always some sort of light even in the darkest of things.
If we're not there in the dark with them, least we can do is tell them that they're worthy of the light.
Otherwise, everyone have their opinion and I can't argue with a concrete one, I've tried before.
Let's just be Thankful that we've the privilege of choice.

I don't know who that individual is in the video but he is NOT Stephen Hawking. Stephen Hawking died many years ago and this is his replacement. Unfortunately this is just another example of FAKE NEWS from the main stream press [including the BBC] and why they cannot be trusted.

Stephen Hawking's did die many decades ago and that is a replacement and yes it is FAKE NEWS. Just as the rest of the CIA/FBI controlled main stream press is nothing but fake news. And such language Jacob calling someone you don't know an idiot. I wonder if your mother knows how poorly you talk of others with a different set of FACTS!

Very inspiring! How a family broke through barriers! Communicating with "you mustn't say" parents is more difficult than communicating with Eastern Europeans who can hardly speak English at all, because at least E. Europeans want to have accurate communication & the Hawking's example of communicating with a Dad who has to use a computer to communicate is an example to everybody.
