Love the pod. The backcourt efficiency stats have to be weighed against who was around them. No great lob threats. Love MM but he wasn’t going to stretch the floor. Ergo, that efficiency was gonna be low. Roach is definitely a force multiplier in all this.
If roach doesn’t come back (likely) we need to heavily pursue a playable Point guard. I understand we may not get a guy who is starting caliber to sit on the bench, but at least a playable backup PG who can step in if foster or proctor get injured. I believe the next spot should be used for Amari williams from drexler or a center of that caliber. If not maybe Brandon angel if power or Stewart ( I really hope Stewart stays) leave. Just my thoughts
I take foster over proctor running point! Look at fosters ft attempts in half the minutes of proctor. Foster pushes it and puts pressure on the D! Proctor in transition defers or stops at 3 point line and waits for the defense to catch up. Foster goes towards contact proctor falls away from it!!!
I 2nd that, foster is a better shooter and pg than proctor right now, foster will be much better nxt season with added strength. Proctor does not play 6'5 foster does.
Duke Needs a starting centre, Maluach is not good enough/coordinated enough to start.

I would prefer no portal prospects. I prefer to invest in the kids who invested in us. If we don't want to be young, stop recruiting monster classes and go to the portal. But the kids who commit early shouldn't be recruited over. Besides, we've got what we need.

Yeah, I wish it was that easy. But there’s no loyalty amongst players and colleges. Gotta be flexible.
