- Title says all! Today I go over how to efficiently one phase every boss in the King's Fall raid, taking into consideration a range of options that strike a balance between easy to use and powerful enough to get the job done!

Interestingly, the warpriest is actually the single hardest raid boss to one phase in the game, mainly because he has the most health out of all of them! For him you'll need to really crank out the DPS.

Small note - As many have pointed out Div on Oryx is pointless, so if you still want to keep this simple you can either...
1) Forfeit the debuff and just do 6 whispers or
2) Do 6 whispers and have some people intermittently throw solar/void grenades for debuff
Or, if you want to be optimal, have one person tractor double pellet his hand.
The important thing to take away from this video is that you only need 5 whispers to one phase, so with 6 you'll be cruising!

@@btr1011 LFG players are complete NPCs istg. They still think Thunderlord does more damage with Div even though that was patched ages ago.
But hey, some LFGs still think bubble gives a bigger damage boost than Well
@@TH_Zireael2077 it also wasn't even that much more damage when the TLord/Div bug was present, basically just Xenophage DPS with twice as much total damage in reserves.

Since Divinity only gives 15% you would do more if all 6 uses Whisper on Oryx. Or do you use Divinity for the consistency? To me it doesn't feel like you can miss Oryx even if you try =)

Why use div for oryx? It's a damage loss as 15% isn't enough to offset the cost of losing a whisper, and it's very easy to throw one weaken nade right at the start which would make 6 whispers even better.
The crit bubble isn't helpful as it's contained entirely within his normal crit, so that doesn't help either
Yeah and we also have the Revitalizing Blast seasonal mod for a free 15% debuff too
for golgy use sunbracers/ strand titan grapple melee and just spam abilities. solo damage is just about his entire health bar

Yeah you're probably right, but that's why I was saying that it's the hardest one phase out there, to set expectations somewhat
while probably not entirely necessary, i think you forgot to mention that the gaze people can also deal a smol amount of damage before running to grab the gaze again. which can help in weaker groups, but is probably irrelevant in stronger ones anyways

Nice vid, still haven't one phased WP yet but il give this a go, one note: 5*1.15=5.75 so i think 6 whispers would be better than having a div

Another series would be an optimized master version of these raids like best weapons for the challange etc and a challange way would also just be a bonus and triumph since everything on this is outdated and ur the go to now in my entire clan because its updated

I would rather 2 phase this boss and let lfg play what they want than waiting 2 hours that lfg swaps there loadout for a not even gurantee one phase

For people who need help killing bosses, I question whether they'd actually be capable of running double special while retaining enough ammo up to the DPS phase. Double special ain't nearly as ammo-free as it previously was.
True but most classes have very effective ad clear tools that don't require using weapons, think Sunbracers, Fan Knives and Banner of War/Skullfort/Mini Hammer
Yeah, the Broodweaver rotation is great. I use Witherhoard instead of Izi and Threadling nades instead of grapple cause i just find them easier to use, though.

It's a two sided issue. Being told your loadout sucks and you can't use guns you like feels bad. Knowing the raid is going to take dramatically longer because somebody insists on using a bad loadout also feels bad. Gotta set those expectations up front.

For orxy you can have a triple shotgun titan with no backup plans, one shotgun with tractor. Larger debuff and pretty solid dps on its own
You can do better on Dragon's Shadow or Rain of Fire due to superior reloading and more relevant supers. But yeah, given Oryx's big crit spot, Divinity seems like kind of a waste when you could Tractor. I'm sure Llama knows this, though.

There's irony with using a worm god to kill Oryx.
Whisper is great for oryx, but I don’t think divinity is helping DPS. 115 x 5 = 575, while 6 x 100 = 600. Div is negative DPS. Prolly better off tethering or tractoring his hand or just not using anything at all.
Tether doesn’t work on Oryx
There's a artifact perk called revitalizing blast that weakens bosses for a short duration when damaged by a solar ability during season of the wish.
The timer is 6 seconds and a 15% debuff. That would make up for the div loss. Just need to ensure solar players rotate nades. Uncertain if each damage tick like on a solar nade refreshes the debuff.
Alright I’m going to grind the battle pass so I can get exotic cypher to get whisper. That thing is op.
For nighthawk hunters with short load times a good idea is to swap to a pair of boots with 2 kinetic surges to boost the golden dun damage and swap back to boots with dps weapon surges afterwards
also i've had a little bit of a skill issue and forgot to swap off of void surges for oryx, the team with everyone running solar surges would definitely kill him a bit faster

do you have a build link for the strand warlock dps build? / for the whole warpriest encounter?
The only thing I'll bring up is that you CAN tractor cannon Oryx's Hand to get the maximum debuff going, and have one other person actually doing damage during the fight with the tractor fusioning from where his hand is or just meleeing it with strand as a titan.
I They will need to be ok swapping to Div for the final part though, given he's no longer on the map, but you got PLEAnty of time to do that so likely still entirely doable. Just makes the 'get to final stand' that much easier and make it that much less likely for people to run out of whisper during said final stand too.

@@LlamaD2 Didn't respond to this earlier cause I just realized/thought about it today, but main reason to also bring this up is that it's a LOT more likely a random LFGer has Tractor than they have Div these days especially.
Still, for sure Div is easier if one is present and still results in what is desired, but it is a thing that just came to my mind to consider while watching your latest upload about Root. (good stuff on that btw!)
For Daughters and Oryx, is Lumina and Cataclysmic that different from Leviathan's and Whisper? Usually I'm the Lumina guy for the whole raid
you can also one phase oryx very easily by doing this neat trick known as 6 star eater hunters on golden gun. does this make the rest of the raid harder and less flexible? yes. is it funny? also yes

You don't need div this season cuz solar nades weaken and someone can just tractor double pellet him it. If you shot the right spot on oryx's hand you can do triple damage with pellets

0:22 No, caretaker has more health than warpriest. Warpriest has around 19mil, caretaker has around 22mil. But caretaker is coded to receive more damage than warpriest so that’s why we feel warpriest is tougher. And I think crota is also healthier than warpriest as well (might be wrong)
Crota's in the same boat, yeah. It's just weird to say Caretaker has more health when, in practice, you shoot him less to kill him, even if it's technically true under the hood. Effective health is what matters.
Yeah in-game caretaker is the healthiest, but when adjusted for scalars warpriest comes out on top

I thought of this too but I think it's far easier to hit your crits with a linear vs a sniper, especially with how much Golgoroth moves

Almost certainly and especially considering this season has Revitalizing Blast mod for a free 15% debuff already
Blade Barrage & Star Eaters > Nighthawk, u have to Prepop Gun u cant be in Well cause Radiant Buff wont work, Blade Barrage with Star Eaters in Animation swap to Radiant Dance Machines and dump ur apex is alot better.

If you're a wellock in the encounter run Mantle of battle harmony, killing anything procs a x4 solar surge for 10 seconds making whisper even better. Mantle of battle harmony outpaces phoenix in terms of super regen. Source: Treymanblock

Yeah sorry no I’m not using linears on Golgy. Rockets will get you a more consistent 1 phase and you can put out more DPS. Also, whisper exists.

I gotta ask a question on golgi..while i would be HORRIBLE for damage on golg, could i theoretically hold the gaze forever with stronghold and lament? And would that be a good thing for my teamates to have me (i suck) just standing there and having a staring match behind my sword

Only problem I see with these is the damage for console players isn't what it is for PC players. I say this as I have tested it with the PC players in my group and there also many videos here on youtube showing the differences on many different things also. Just as an example the leviathans breathe gets about twice the damage on PC and same with celestial golden gun. I ran the same build as a PC friend he got 999,999 for damage and the highest I got was around 712,000 on console. If I remember correct I want to say his actual damage was 1.4 million. We both did it several times to make sure and got almost the same results every time. I say almost cause on console I saw around 650,000 a couple of times. I was on PS5. One of the videos I saw said it is a frame rate issue and that higher frame rates on multiple different things deal much more damage.

This season yes, but I have tried to make these videos more general, and you can't fault Div's easy of use!
I think a much easier way to kill warpriest is to run 5 nighthawk players and a welllock and divinity with Fusion rifles craft a tipan it literally comes free with witch queen just do the Enigma glave quest craft it with triple tap and fireing line

In a rocket swap rotation no, it's too slow.
Here’s the plan. If I shatter skate, you well skate and that titan over there hits him with shoulder charge, we should be able to push Oryx into space. We’ll be in space too but we might be able to ask him to be Touch of Malice if we have any leftover cookies from the Dawning.

Oh man, I know the video is exactly the opposite, but last week I did KF running cloudstrike and an auto loading rocket for damage, and gotta say; might not one shot the bosses but was so much fun yet my damage was the second best.
Yeah, that's a pretty reasonable basic strat. I would suggest grabbing Ikelos SR and The Supremacy, which lets you use exotic options like Gjallarhorn and Dragon's Breath, or start experimenting with shotgun-based DPS--there are Tractor Cannon rotations that do Whisper levels of damage while providing the debuff, for instance.

Why would you use Div on Oryx? Just use a sixth Whisper
Does anyone know when to run threadling nade or grapple nade on strand warlock
Threadling grenades are generally not worth it anymore due to the long cooldown, grapple is your best bet overall

please don't use div for oryx. Have someone on tractor go up and tag his arm and swap slugs, or just 6 stack whisper. The crit bubble is not helping you at all in that fight and the 15% debuff is practically throwing.
For oryx why div? Why not tractor instead because regardless when your shooting him its a CRIT even without div
Div is an easier debuff to apply, you can tractor of course but it isn't as lfg friendly
