Changbin bias, right here. He's the guy who rapped the intro here and God's Menu, as well. Looks like you like Han's rapping more, but I'd like to point out that Changbin's one of the fastest rappers around. But don't just take my word for it. SKZ songs are littered with the flow of Han and Changbin (they rap more than the rest). Miroh, Easy, and District 9 are great examples. Just don't be confused if there's an unfamiliar face in Miroh and District 9. Stray Kids originally debuted with 9 members, but one member left for undisclosed reasons. Changbin also featured on Mirror Mirror, a song by Thai rapper Milli with fellow Thai rapper F.Hero... you're gonna die when you hear his voice. Most of the time you see all the members at once. Lol. You'll recognize them the more you see them. They're just great. Super talented. Super dedicated. They love their fandom, "STAY".
It is so adorable watching you guys geek out over the change in language.....fun fact all of them are bilingual or polyglots! Bangchan speaks english korean and japanese and learns phrases from like 5 other languages. Felix is fluent english korean and at least conversational japanese, remembers some french from school. Lee Know speaks korean and japanese and understands a lot of english but doesnt speak it. Hyunjin, Seungmin, and Han speak korean and english. Changbin and IN also speak korean and a bit of english and have been working hard on more. I think one of them has some conversational mandorin. They make a unimaginable effort to learn at least a phrase or two for each country they go to for tours. Its mindboggling.

The title is Venom but the Hangul I think is geomijul (“Spiderwebs”). They talk throughout the song about being trapped. Changbin in his first verse talks about he got caught on purpose. In the video they ingest poison but they’re feeding it to themselves. Felix is controlling the Spider that is chasing them, Lee Know trapped his own reflection, Channie is holding the arrow to his on chest with I.N, Seungmin has a whole hallway behind him but. Gooses to stay frappes behind the red rope web, Han is holding the gun to his own head, and Hyunjin compares his feelings to Harley (Quinn) who I famously fell in love with the Joker, was kidnapped by him and chose to stay and become the villainess princess to his Clown Prince of Crime. And at the end Felix says that they have no thought of escaping the trap they’ve found themselves in. Many of the lyrics mention being tied up or caught up and ultimately being happy in the web they’re in. In the video they ingest poison but they’re feeding it to themselves. The beat on this is so grimy and heavy hitting. Loving the Stray Kids reactions!! Have y’all ever heard of Ren? He’s an independent musician from the UK who does a little bit of everything from rap to ballads to bardcore. He has Lyme disease and much of his music reflects his struggles with his health. A lot of his music also revolves around mental health and many even have a lot of commentary on the state of the world today. Some songs I’d recommend if you decide to look into his stuff are: - Hi Ren (definitely his most popular song and the one that launched his career. Out of all of the ones I mentioned, this might be the one to start with) - Money Game (there’s also a part 2 + 3 of this one that lets you see an evolution in his music and production. It’s an interesting social commentary) - Diazepam (goes into the not so fun side effects of some medications for mental health) - The Tale of Jenny and Screech (TW for this one; it’s a trilogy so be sure to watch the full 13 minute RUclips vid. It doesn’t feel like 13 minutes. I promise lol) - Animal Flow (music video is interesting and based on George Orwell’s Animal Farm) - Genesis (another struggle with mental health and inner demons) All of these have music videos except for Money Game Part 2 which has a lyric video. Sorry for the ridiculously long comment but I hope you’re able to look into Ren’s work a bit.

Love this reaction! Stray Kids are masters at blending English and Korean and I loved seeing you realize they did that so smoothly. All of them speak at least basic English but have also become comfortable with Japanese-check out the Giant MV-as well. And everyone has given you so many other SKZ videos to watch but if you want a non-Stray Kids but still kinda K-pop video you should check out APT by Rosé and Bruno Mars. For Stray Kids though I’d suggest Giant, JJAM, S-Class and Case 143.☺️

Hi! I’m a multi Stan. I started listening to K-pop in 2018 with BTS, added Stray Kids, then Ateez and then added more and more groups from there. Some things I learned as An American that aren’t common here in the US…. Every member gets “their moment to shine”. I’m 47( physically anyways, mentally I’m about 20 years younger😂 I actually introduced K-pop to my kids, I’ve been to K-pop concerts, my kids 23 and 13, have not.) and I’ve been around for a lot of musical groups. There are always a member or two that shine brighter, or is given more attention than other members in US groups. Not just singing groups, but bands and rap groups also… it’s just a thing that happens here… not so much in K-pop, or other Asian groups in general. (Tip: once you finally recognize who is who, go back and rewatch the videos you started with. Realizing who sang what part shows you just how talented everyone is.) Switching languages is a thing…even as someone who grew up in an area with multiple cultures in her neighborhood, I was still entranced by their ability to sing or rap and switch between languages so quickly. I shouldn’t have been. It’s not like pitbull, j-lo, Gloria Estefan and others hadn’t been doing it for years but I guess because it’s Spanish, it was just expected? I don’t know why I thought that way, I just did. ( tidbit: I do now believe that normalizing positive exposure to countries and cultures outside of the US … would eliminate so many harmful stereotypes and negative expectations we have here.) Korean Music videos are no joke… there was a time when American music videos were all about the storytelling but then it changed and music videos became more of a side thought or an add on to the music. But even when we had great MV’s… other than a very small handful of artists… nothing is comparable to the production and quality of what these groups put out today. ( let me clarify that I am basing this on my own perception from viewing years of music videos as an American within our own market. I’m slowly branching out into other cultures, out of the hundreds of different cultures out there… I’ve been exposed to like… an itty bitty fraction. I don’t mean any disrespect to the multitude of ones I haven’t seen yet. I’m working on it, 😊 I promise!) And last note for now, like anything in general the more you watch the more you learn. Don’t hold yourself in this tiny box of just official MV’s. I found it easier to recognize and remember who was who once I started to watch live performances, the guides, and behind the scenes content. Which is in abundance. Another thing different from the US. These groups form bonds with their fans in a way that I’ve never experienced. And I was a fanatic for NKOTB growing up. But there is a huge difference. It was one sided. These groups connect with their fans in a way that is a whole different level of sincere. The livestreams they have are often more like best friends chatting in person rather than fan interaction. Bangchan has a longtime livestream where he just has conversations with everyone. Jk from BTS has entire evenings of chatting while making dinner, folding clothes and doing karaoke in his living room, just like my kids do with their best friends. It’s a different kind of relationship compared to what we as Americans are used to. And I love it! Also, you guys are great. You do you how you want to do this. And don’t take negative comments to heart. Just remember every single group has outliers, fans who are too loud, too rude, too much. Never don’t judge a whole group based on a few bad seeds. As someone who started off as just Army(fan group of BTS) and then became part of other groups, I’ve witnessed plenty of situations of conflict started by an overreaction or unnecessary comment from both commenters who claim to be from a fandom I’m a part of and from the other’s claiming other fandoms. Our favs would be disappointed in us if they saw us behaving the way I’ve seen some people act. Ok… enough of that… imma go binge the rest of your videos- cya!

Looks like you like Han's rapping more, but I'd like to point out that Changbin's one of the fastest rappers around. But don't just take my word for it. SKZ songs are littered with the flow of Han and Changbin (they rap more than the rest). Miroh, Easy, and District 9 are great examples. Just don't be confused if there's an unfamiliar face in Miroh and District 9. Stray Kids originally debuted with 9 members, but one member left for undisclosed reasons. Changbin also featured on Mirror Mirror, a song by Thai rapper Milli with fellow Thai rapper F.Hero... you're gonna die when you hear his voice. Most of the time you see all the members at once. Lol. You'll recognize them the more you see them. They're just great. Super talented. Super dedicated. They love their fandom, "STAY".
It is so adorable watching you guys geek out over the change in language.....fun fact all of them are bilingual or polyglots! Bangchan speaks english korean and japanese and learns phrases from like 5 other languages. Felix is fluent english korean and at least conversational japanese, remembers some french from school. Lee Know speaks korean and japanese and understands a lot of english but doesnt speak it. Hyunjin, Seungmin, and Han speak korean and english. Changbin and IN also speak korean and a bit of english and have been working hard on more. I think one of them has some conversational mandorin. They make a unimaginable effort to learn at least a phrase or two for each country they go to for tours. Its mindboggling.

6:15 😭😭, Hyunjin’s name is pronounced like the sound in “honey”, so it would be “hun•jin” But it sounds a bit different when pronounced in Korean!! (they emphasize the ‘y ’but it’s very small)

The title is Venom but the Hangul I think is geomijul (“Spiderwebs”). They talk throughout the song about being trapped. Changbin in his first verse talks about he got caught on purpose. In the video they ingest poison but they’re feeding it to themselves. Felix is controlling the Spider that is chasing them, Lee Know trapped his own reflection,
Channie is holding the arrow to his on chest with I.N, Seungmin has a whole hallway behind him but. Gooses to stay frappes behind the red rope web, Han is holding the gun to his own head, and Hyunjin compares his feelings to Harley (Quinn) who I famously fell in love with the Joker, was kidnapped by him and chose to stay and become the villainess princess to his Clown Prince of Crime. And at the end Felix says that they have no thought of escaping the trap they’ve found themselves in. Many of the lyrics mention being tied up or caught up and ultimately being happy in the web they’re in. In the video they ingest poison but they’re feeding it to themselves. Felix is controlling the Spider that is chasing them, Lee Know trapped his own reflection, Han is holding the gun to his own head, It could be an analogy for the business they’re in or the stardom/K-pop idol trap they’re in that they are now stuck in but ultimately they enjoy it. Also side note, there are a few different references to art in this video. There’s the image that I.N and Bang Chan recreate with the bow and arrow, there’s the last supper like scene. The beat on this is so grimy and heavy hitting.

Loving the Stray Kids reactions!! Have y’all ever heard of Ren? He’s an independent musician from the UK who does a little bit of everything from rap to ballads to bardcore.
He has Lyme disease and much of his music reflects his struggles with his health. A lot of his music also revolves around mental health and many even have a lot of commentary on the state of the world today.
Some songs I’d recommend if you decide to look into his stuff are:
- Hi Ren (definitely his most popular song and the one that launched his career. Out of all of the ones I mentioned, this might be the one to start with)
- Money Game (there’s also a part 2 + 3 of this one that lets you see an evolution in his music and production. It’s an interesting social commentary)
- Diazepam (goes into the not so fun side effects of some medications for mental health)
- The Tale of Jenny and Screech (TW for this one; it’s a trilogy so be sure to watch the full 13 minute RUclips vid. It doesn’t feel like 13 minutes. I promise lol)
- Animal Flow (music video is interesting and based on George Orwell’s Animal Farm)
- Genesis (another struggle with mental health and inner demons)
All of these have music videos except for Money Game Part 2 which has a lyric video.

Love this reaction! Stray Kids are masters at blending English and Korean and I loved seeing you realize they did that so smoothly. All of them speak at least basic English but have also become comfortable with Japanese-check out the Giant MV-as well. And everyone has given you so many other SKZ videos to watch but if you want a non-Stray Kids but still kinda K-pop video you should check out APT by Rosé and Bruno Mars. For Stray Kids though I’d suggest Giant, JJAM, S-Class and Case 143.☺️

Hi! I’m a multi Stan. I started listening to K-pop in 2018 with BTS, added Stray Kids, then Ateez and then added more and more groups from there. Some things I learned as An American that aren’t common here in the US….
Every member gets “their moment to shine”. I’m 47( physically anyways, mentally I’m about 20 years younger😂 I actually introduced K-pop to my kids, I’ve been to K-pop concerts, my kids 23 and 13, have not.) and I’ve been around for a lot of musical groups. There are always a member or two that shine brighter, or is given more attention than other members in US groups. Not just singing groups, but bands and rap groups also… it’s just a thing that happens here… not so much in K-pop, or other Asian groups in general. (Tip: once you finally recognize who is who, go back and rewatch the videos you started with. Realizing who sang what part shows you just how talented everyone is.)
Switching languages is a thing…even as someone who grew up in an area with multiple cultures in her neighborhood, I was still entranced by their ability to sing or rap and switch between languages so quickly. I shouldn’t have been. It’s not like pitbull, j-lo, Gloria Estefan and others hadn’t been doing it for years but I guess because it’s Spanish, it was just expected? I don’t know why I thought that way, I just did. ( tidbit: I do now believe that normalizing positive exposure to countries and cultures outside of the US … would eliminate so many harmful stereotypes and negative expectations we have here.)
Korean Music videos are no joke… there was a time when American music videos were all about the storytelling but then it changed and music videos became more of a side thought or an add on to the music. But even when we had great MV’s… other than a very small handful of artists… nothing is comparable to the production and quality of what these groups put out today. ( let me clarify that I am basing this on my own perception from viewing years of music videos as an American within our own market. I’m slowly branching out into other cultures, out of the hundreds of different cultures out there… I’ve been exposed to like… an itty bitty fraction. I don’t mean any disrespect to the multitude of ones I haven’t seen yet. I’m working on it, 😊 I promise!)
And last note for now, like anything in general the more you watch the more you learn. Don’t hold yourself in this tiny box of just official MV’s. I found it easier to recognize and remember who was who once I started to watch live performances, the guides, and behind the scenes content. Which is in abundance. Another thing different from the US. These groups form bonds with their fans in a way that I’ve never experienced. And I was a fanatic for NKOTB growing up. But there is a huge difference. It was one sided. These groups connect with their fans in a way that is a whole different level of sincere. The livestreams they have are often more like best friends chatting in person rather than fan interaction. Bangchan has a longtime livestream where he just has conversations with everyone. Jk from BTS has entire evenings of chatting while making dinner, folding clothes and doing karaoke in his living room, just like my kids do with their best friends. It’s a different kind of relationship compared to what we as Americans are used to. And I love it!
Also, you guys are great. You do you how you want to do this. And don’t take negative comments to heart. Just remember every single group has outliers, fans who are too loud, too rude, too much. Never don’t judge a whole group based on a few bad seeds. As someone who started off as just Army(fan group of BTS) and then became part of other groups, I’ve witnessed plenty of situations of conflict started by an overreaction or unnecessary comment from both commenters who claim to be from a fandom I’m a part of and from the other’s claiming other fandoms. Our favs would be disappointed in us if they saw us behaving the way I’ve seen some people act.
