While you have the radiator out you should have it rodded out. If the fins are clean and it's still overheating then you probably have debris in the core.

Use a temp gun and check inlet and outlet hose temps.....if it is dropping too much you may have a flow problem (internally plugging up, hose collapsed or water pump getting weak). Not dropping much at all would be air flow problem. Did this to find an internally plugged radiator on our cat generator.

Chet meant to say this.....Concentrated calcium chloride is a liquid designed specifically for surface dust control and soil stabilization around farms and agricultural operations. It is applied to unpaved surfaces and roads, road shoulders, embankments and stockpiles to minimize airborne dust. Calcium chloride is both hygroscopic (draws moisture from the air) and deliquescent (resists evaporation and stays in solution).

Dougo: One ofthe other farm channels I watch (Sonne Farms in SD) just did a video of the history of their farm including who they were and when their ancestors came over from the old country. I think it would be wonderful for you to do the same thing. (My great great grandfather was Tosten Larson-Haug who came over from Norway to Wisconsin in 1856 and eventually settled in the St. Olaf MN area before moving on to Canada. He had brothers and sisters who stayed in MN)
I would love you to document your family history and hear how the Larsons farmed the area where you live.

Look at Toby the wonder farm beagle. He does just what you tell him. Good boy Toby!
Grandma will be happy now without all the excess dust. Our county would come out and spray the road like that but used a water truck when we lived on a corner and in the country and our road was gravel. Bet they wouldn’t do that now though.
You guys need MEGASAURUS the car eating robot to help with the clean-up. Now that WOULD be something! I love that thing!

On the excavator radiator. Have you tried evaporator coil cleaner? Get it from your HVAC dealer. I use the foaming type on my haying equipment. Have problems with dirt and chaf plugging. Also pick up pollen which is sticky and makes it worse. Much more efficient than using the power washer, alone.
Wash mine twice per season. Cured my overheating problems.
Keep up the good work, guys!

I don’t farm but have a lot of crushing equipment. We had a problem on our 275 Komatsu dozer with over heating. Pressure washed it out twice and didn’t fix it. But then blew it out with an air compressor and I was amazed with how much dust and dirt that came out of it. Doesn’t overheat anymore after we did that.
