Beautiful colour of yarn. Love that knitting creates the time for connection with your Mom. My Dad passed this year and I talk with him all the time. He makes his presence felt and helps me with the caring of my Mom. Thank you for the walks in your woodland.

I love the Goddess at the gate. I also loved how the small mushrooms made a lovely pattern on the tree.
When I moved to be near my daughter in my 70's I left behind a lovely country garden and landed on a Welsh hillside in an ex mining village with a small garden of concrete and gravel terraces!!! The saving grace being that it backs onto a hilly field and looks out over terraces to the hills across the valley. Over the last 3 yrs I have been picking out the concrete and gravel and replacing it with soil from my allotment; (don't tell the allotment police). This morning I was thinking about you and your lovely woodlands you have created and really appreciating the enormous hazel tree that overhangs my little plot at the back whilst I restored the final small bed to earth in which to plant a couple of small trees. I really enjoy wandering around your woodland with you and am so blessed that firstly you share it with those who want to journey with you, and secondly that I fell upon your channel at all so thank you for the door to Bealtaine.

My mum tried to knit me a jumper when I was about 11. Im 65 now and she never did finish it 🤣
It was a beautiful peacock blue. Ah well, she tried.
There was a time when everybody wore home knits. I do miss those days.

The jumper is a beautiful blue color and asking for your Mom's help can't hurt! Probably helps focus and calm your mind is my thought on that. I have said hello's and all to my Mom and others who are beyond the veil and I just ask if someone can deliver my message and a "please" and "thankyou" also.

I feel so relaxed after another walk through your wonderful wildlife (and human) welcoming garden. Thanks for showing your current knitting project. You must model your jumper when finished. I love to knit too, and crochet. I also love making soap. Everything on hold for the last 2 months as I revover from surgery to repair tendons and remove bone from my wrist. Am very impatient to get the cast off and pick up my knitting again. Warm wishes from South Australia. 🐾🦋

Lovely memories of your dad I think of my dad who passed everyday.. He was such a pest and a wind up merchant, drove me bananas but extremely clever too. And a bit psychic. I miss him, but glad he's not here to see this nonsense world we are in now. I'd be too worried that he'd be arrested for saying the "wrong" thing. Which obviously wouldn't be, but things now change daily..what you could say yesterday , you can't today.
Absolutely love your knitting. Those colours are my favourite , they give me a nice feeling inside.. ,( me being a bit of a mermaid,)

I am new to your channel and I am loving it so tranquil. I looked after my mum and dad with dementia for 12 years. They came to live with me and my husband. Mum passed 5 years ago and dad passed on 21 st July this year so not long ago he was 102 so I still grieving and watching your videos is very soothing. Xx💜

Working on the path cleanup with your son must have been a great chance to catch up as you worked. It is good to have a son who will come to your assistance when needed..... I'm very intuative , Celtic side of me perhaps, !! grandfather was irish & grandmother on dads side, & scottish
& welsh on mums side.

Hubs is finishing up the fall cleanup here. Snow tires on our vehicle will be going on Thursday! I am now up to small households tasks and will be starting my PT tomorrow. Pantry stores are at the ready for the coming winter. TY for sharing the lovely green walk. You are looking very pretty!

Just wanted to say how much reassurance and happiness your videos bring Colette. In a world full of commercialism and pressure to have more and more, your videos speak to my soul and remind me of what is important in life. Like you I earn very little and am content with very little. I do not know that much about paganism so enjoy learning little bits now and then from your videos. I would very much like to learn more on this as I have celebrated the solstices for many years now and I always pick up on the energy of our seasonal changes. My mom was a professional knitter too, knitting the most extraordinary Aran sweaters with complex sheaf patterns ..i on the other hand deliberately left my knitting needles at home on the days we had knitting and sewing in school as I felt it was unjust to force these sewing and knitting skills on the girls when the boys got to do technical drawing and mechanics..now I wish I had paid more attention in knitting classes during home economics🤪

I agree Colette, I also grew up "poor" and imagine if I hadn't, my relationship with money and even the way I view the world would be very different.. I am so grateful to have those experiences as a child that gave me a different relationship with money. It really helped in letting go of the control money had over my happiness coming into adulthood. Its such a blessing to find wealth in the small things, not our silly made up currency. I also love the way you speak to your parents, my Nana was like my mother and I recently got a shampoo that reminds me of her smell. I hardly want to use it because the emotion it brings on is so powerful, its like I'm hugging her again and her hair is tickling my nose. I have never thought of just talking to her, and may give it a go myself. Also love to see you trying new things with the voice over videos, and hope we will still get a walk and talk now and then. There is something so calming about feeling in the moment with you, but I enjoy all your videos none the less. Hope Autumn is treating you well. Xx

Each wood type dries differently. Oak does not season well shut up inside an enclosed woodshed. Maple & birch like to be cozy & dry. Your willow loves shelter as long as there’s good air flow.

I, too, love to knit--to make something out of nothing but strings! And I love the blue you've chosen! It's the most beautiful shade! You're lucky you have your mom to help guide you at times, and you're very lucky to be able to have a laugh with your mom.

Without going into my life and all that's happened, my Nonna and sometimes my Zia, have guided me and always given me strength when I thought everything was hopeless. My Nonna, who I adore with all my heart, has been a guiding light for me for the last 22 years. She talks to me often and I always talk to her. My Mum has told me I'm a lot like her, which I just love hearing. She was an amazing knitter and crocheter as well. Glad your Mum could help you and have a laugh. Much love Liana 😊 xx

My dad passed 5 years ago but he is always visiting me. He loves to ride when I have to drive somewhere. Still tries to tell me I’m driving too slow😂. I consider it a blessing that those we love are still around us - all we have to do is call them. I live in Alabama US and desperately want to have a garden like yours. Beautiful sweater! I love it! You know my Momma passed in July of 2016. There are certain times and places that I hear her voice. It's a whisper like leaves rustling this time of year. She loved cardinal birds... Every now and then one of the little red birds does something unique to get my attention. This is her. This is my Momma.
I now understand what my mother often said…”there are more things in heaven and earth than we will ever understand!”

My Mum was a great knitter too and would knit for the kids around our street in the sixties and seventies. Love how the water flows down the side of the drive and the magical little mushrooms growing on the tree.
