I dont think the right play on that jax clip is to move in the enemy territory and to steal away some camps. Your health is low enough that a J4 full.combo might just be around the corner. I think what I would have done there is probably recall and spend the gold I got. Zac will most likely get a plating or two good for him I get to preserve my gold that I get from the kill and spend it on an item and take my camps and find another gank. By the time Jax started hitting that tower only then J4 shown up on mid Annie has a ward on the razorbeaks and we know that is up. The only camp I could have taken if ever J4 isnt around that side of the map is both the red and the krugs ( assuming J4 isnt there to try and finish us off). I know I need to limit test but uf you're that low and can be one shot combo by the J4 and you dont have any awareness or the skill of intelligently guessing where the enemy jungler will be you'll lose gold, map pressure, team moral. If I where jax I would have also pinged my midlaner even if I'm going back to base, taking those turret plates or trying to steal some camps. I know you have prio top but what are the chances that a gold player zac would even pose up to help bail you out. So in the end I would have probably recall even though I would have love to take some of those camps away. As you've mentioned in one of your videos if you ever trying to execute a gank or simply farming try to ping the other laners that a counter gank might happen around the map and surely J4 attempted that.
Sometimes maximizing what you can, doesnt always mean taking risk. They should be calculated risk. I myself can still fall prey into this sometimes even though I play in high rank in WR now and sometimes up against really good junglers(streamers and pros). I wouldn't have climb that rank without years of watching your guides. I know I cannot implement all of the teaching from years into my game every single time but, at least I'm learning something and I can implement what I have learned from all those years of watching into my games and my team. 😊 TY
I think a lot of lower elo players hold themselves less accountable for their own mistakes while holding their teammates' mistakes more accountable, and so they are unable to improve not because they themselves are terrible but because they have terrible mentality. I feel like most low elo players can make a comeback into the game even if they are hard losing as long as they try hard enough but they are too busy being tilted and blaming one another. Its kinda sad but that's just how it is.
The comments to this video verify that lol. Actually kind of sad to see. I had thought the "Elo hell" mentality went away in season 3 or 4, but 10 years later people still can't figure out that they are the problem.
My mental holds me back so much in this game. I auto pilot the moment things don’t start out great and only engage my brain when i’m ahead. I take fights I shouldn’t, try to save my teammates when I have no business involving myself, make stupid plays trying to appease the ragers in my games. I have to constantly engage my brain and keep cool to climb and I fail hard every couple of games.
Important timestamps: 01:15 Let things go and use the time to do something else 05:04 Coordinate better with Baron buff with your teammates 11:05 Don't push Tower Plates together with others unless there is nothing else to do 14:48 Consider where jungle is before trading in lane
The main 2 things that took me to gold from bronze were super simple. 1) split push champ and constantly split, dont push unless you know where at least 3 players are or should be (based on where they were over the past 30 secs). 2) LET YOUR TEAM CARRY YOU, if your adc is 7/1 with +30cs for the love of god dont feed the enemy mid/top/jng whatever it is you play or vice versa if you play bot/supp, just farm safely and no matter what dont die and give an enemy a chance to get ahead
The last part is what matters the most and most of the laners will never accept. If you (laner) die by 1v1 trade or by enemy jungler's ganks, it's not your jungler's fault, it's yours. Your jungler has to play his game and make a plan on what lane prioritize or seek the right time for ganks. You have to know where the enemy one starts and where he's pathing and then do your trades based on that knowledge. Plus, if your jungler sees that you're losing hard and decides not to help you because it's not worth the effort, it's still your fault for letting it happen, so you have to adapt and wait for a winning condition to play around. So, dear laners, stop blaming your jungler if you're losing your lane. It's not his job winning it, it's yours.
I feel like I do these things already, just not consistently. And it'll be the one time I decide to trade without knowing where the enemy jungle is that I get ganked and die. Also I feel that the overall message of a lot of Skillcapped videos is not that you have to make the "right" decision every time, as long as you don't make the "wrong" decision.
I think you could honestly boil all of league down to: The person who makes less mistakes and is able to capitalize on enemy mistakes wins. AKA wait for your opponent to make a mistake, because they will, then capitalize. Rinse and repeat.
Thank you guys so much for atleast trying to help teach better basics for league for free. The amount of content, and the level of content, is clearly unmatched by any other league channel. Keep up this great work. Thanks ❤
The problem in the solo/duo q is that you have to play together as a team, so it doesn't do me any good if I know how to play alone but all the other 4 do their own shit.
This may be 11 months old, but you litterally cannot stress this enough, it is a team game, you cannot carry an entire game alone when the enemy team is on pair with your own skill set while coordinating together than your team not doing the same. It only takes 1 person to really throw and cost the game just about (depending on how much of an advantage they give to the enemy ofc), yet it takes everyone to win it. And since this is solo queue, where your how your teammates react and play are totally random, without a duo, you only have like a 20% win rate (based off of your own skill ofc), which also means you could play 100% perfectly out of that 20% chance and still lose.
MY LAST SOLOQ MATCH I CARRIED AS FIDDLESTICKS JUNGLE, MY TEAM AND I GOT EVERY OBJECTIVE AND THEY WERE PUSHING/FIGHTING TIER 2 TOP WHILE I WAS FARMING MY JUNGLE AND WATCHING FOR BACK DOOR, THEN AN 1/10 AD SHYVANA TOP CAME MID, TOOK TIER 2 TOWER, I ULTED HER TO STOP(AND SINCE I WAS FED I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE EASY),SHE SIMPLY ULTED ME AND INSTAKILLED ME, TOOK TIER 3 TOWER, INHIB, NEXUS TOWERS AND NEXUS, ALL MY TEAMMATES WERE ALIVE AND COULD'VE BASED TO HELP BUT DECIDED TO KEEP FIGHTING, DO YOU SEE WHY I AM STILL LOW ELO???!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?? Disagree in low elo depending on comps (which usually is hard early/late on most cases) I'd rather have an enemy get a double kill and get drake than them have it and take away the only chance to scale, or their fast track to a win. You can outplay half an item but you can't outplay an entire enemy team with a soul with a lot of comps, the first three are more important because low elo dont have the macro to acknowledge the importance of the 4th, so delaying it by 5 or 10 mins by doing it gives you much more chance than an enemy getting a bit more ahead
Probably the most important thing is: Don't play tilted. Take a break, if you are. Emphasize quality over quantity. My rule of thumb is: Play 2-5 games of Ranked. Take a break after the first loss and do something else. The lone exception is game 1. That way you know, that you won't lose any Elo after the frist Win in Game 1... and that you will ose 50 LP at the most in 1 day. That got me to Plat in 70 games. Meanwhile, I played Flex Que tilted, because I want that damn Chroma in the end, and needed 130 games to get out of silver, because I took those 4-5 game losing streaks. After taking a break for a couple of days, my Winrate jumped to 66% and I was out of there in no time, just because my mindset was right again...
That literally doesn't matter. If the rigged matchmaking wants you to win, it will put good players on your team. If it wants you to lose, you will lose
@@joshuacox5817 So the match making is a scentient being, good to know. And even more amazing: It knows, how I will perform, before I log in. Because sometimes, I am that good player, that helps you win, and sometimes I am that bad player, that causes you to lose, beacuse I get outplayed and make too many mistakes. Let me rephrase my original statement: If you got that "there are only idiots in my team today" feeling, you should take a break from ranked.
@@PassivesAbseits it's an algorithm and yes, you will lose if you are matched with idiots because it's a team game. If you think the game is fair then you still have a lot to learn
@@joshuacox5817 You do know what "algorithm" means and how that works? Ok, cynical mode activated: If someone could program an algorithm specifically against you, that factors in 9 random dudes, that guy ain't working for Riot. He will work for the Secret Lizard Society. And don't tell me, that I got shit to learn about this game. I played in Bronze and in Platinum. I abused shit in bronze, that became a bad habit in Gold and got abused by others. Here is, how the sacred algorithm actually works: You play a lot and focus on improving your own game. You become better at the game. You stomp your lane and outperform your direct opponent. Your team wins a lot more, than they lose, because it doesn't matter, that your toplaner is 0-3 after the lane, since you cover for your teammates. You're MMR rises. That means, you get matched with better opponents and teammates. You don't stomp your lane anymore. You thus get have to depend on your teammates. You think, that those teammates are "idiots". The actual truth is, that you don't have the same positive impact on your team anymore. And yes, there are always those games, where your teammates are uncarriable idiots. That happens. But there are also those games, where you do nothing at all and get carried. Those games even out over 20-50 games. And if you always focus on self-improvement, your Elo will rise.
#1 tip is learn to control the minion waves properly in an stages of the game. Farming 7-8cspm instead of 4-5 makes a massive difference especially in games you lost lane. In mid game, don't worry about the random fights and making sure side lane waves are being pushed before grouping denies a lot of minions for your opponents as well as allows you to alleviate pressure off the rest of your team as the enemy team won't be able to group as much or they'll be losing lots of good of they group anyway and let the minions die. Just learning stuff like that helped me get from silver to low diamond in two seasons.
thought this was gonna be some generic how to climb video. thank you this helps so much. it feels so bad when you geniuenly dont know what to improve but this video named things ive never thought about. amazing!
This is super correct .. at the half way point. You narrate of an entire teams perspective. Problem is you can´t control what your team is doing therefore i truly learn nothing new from these videos that what i already knew. First of all! I KNOW IM NOT PERFECT and im reflecting on my own mistakes. Second! I have played this game for about 10 years and highest rank is Plat 1 and Diamond back in 3v3 i consider myself hardstuck and super frustrated with it. I have followed the Esport scene through many years and side note earn a lot of bets on the side for it. I have practiced the art of predicting pro players decision making like, rotational gameplay, pressure points, TP flanks, objective control and execution. Live as i watch it. Like really nerding the game with the goal to apply it to my own game play. I know for a fact that know my league very well and more often than not im the designated carry. I know my weaknesses but they arent often part of the game itself. The reason why i lose so many games that objectively is super free is because two main things. You cannot control your team. You can´t properly communicate. You can sit back and watch how people time and time again makes the wrong decisions like going alone into unwarded jungle vs. a Rengar 30 min in(yup dude his still there and you are dead for the 10th time doing that) and you cannot guide them. They wont or arent able to listen. I know its a cliche but even "Skill Capped" talked about it another guide than its better to be with your team doing the wrong thing than doing the right thing alone. That too me seems so insane. Second reason im stuck; i cant accept the fact that i need to have so much patience ingame. Lisning to dumbass teenagers arguing over nothing. Gets tilted and doing repeatable mistakes. Maybe even talk shiit to you with no consideration that im up +100 cs doing global objectives and have positive to neutral scores. If you wanna climb like truly. Obviously get good at your own macroplay, mechanics ingame knowledge etc. have a fuckton of patience and eat shiit for hours straight while being calm and respective. Never tilt even though its humanly impossible at times. Hope and pray Riots removes duo queue. Even Broxah said back in his stream that gold was the hardest and most impossible rank to climb because people are so clueless(thats fine) but wont listen.
I feel you bro. I've played like 10-20 ranked games every season to get the Gold rewards for 6 years or something, but late Season 13 I started playing more to see how far I could climb. Didn't have time to get particularly far before season end and now Season 14 is in my opinion f**king terrible compared to 13 since everything literally oneshots everything this season and that does not at all fit well with my playstyle. Never the less I reached Emerald I after 30-ish games, 60% winrate. That is when I had, and I kid you not, 10 losses in a ROW. I played poorly in some of those games but the majority I had some of the worst trolls I think anyone has ever seen in ranked. I'm talking people who flash for no reason, ults in spawn, stands AFK, runs down to die under enemy turret, walks up alone to enemy team emote-spamming, you name it. 1 missplay from anyone in the team and some people lose their god damn minds and give up entirely. Problem for me is, now my MMR is completely screwed. I am now losing 25+ LP and gaining 18 or less, so I guess my account is unplayable now because I got teamed up with trolls too many games in a row. So sad to be punished for other people's mental issues. I am now Emerald IV with 40% winrate. It has made me really, really question the people who say ELO hell does not exist. I just can't believe it after seeing what I've seen the last games. 10 games were enough to get me forever stuck here. I mean even if I get a 60% winrate from here on I still wont climb, it's over. 1 game away from Diamond and now it's over. I will never be able to get there again unless I change account. The way I see League, is that you need to have a collectively better team than the enemy to win, and you yourself can of course be very good and a heavy, heavy contributor to your team, but it only goes so far. If you are teamed up with a bunch of nitwits time and time again, you can't carry people who are actively trying to lose. And it feels you get teamed up with them more often if you have a sub 50% winrate. Right now it feels like the enemy team always try their best to win no matter how far behind they are, while your own team lose their mind after one missplay even if you are endlessly far ahead. I could win game after game with everything from Plat to Diamond players but now I am screwed over. I won my lane almost every game against Diamond IV or even Diamond III players, but now I will never get to reach that rank myself anyway.
Past few seasons I'd climg to gold 1 in the first month, now I'm hard stuck in Iron. Not sure what I'm doing wrong, I do everything I'm supposed to do in theory. When I carry I carry really hard, but in season 13 I can't seem to develop any consistency. Sometimes My lanes go 0-3 in the first 5 minutes and I can't do anything, other times the comeback exp after building a lead and having it cut stops me from carrying the rest of the game and someone makes a bad mistakes and throws, or vice versa. I know I'll get back to my normal elo before the season is over, but jeez man I'm not used to this at all. This season has been really frustrating.
@@miru021 lol definitely not. If you were climbing to gold and hard tanked to IRON you fell through 3 WHOLE ranks. Not just the divisions but ranks. That is not just teammates playing badly that is also YOU playing badly. I’ve had games with teammates in Gold LITERALLY int my game because I was in G1 plat promos and still won them. You cannot fall 3 RANKS without playing badly
@@trueterror3099dude Elo Hell is real, the discrapancy between MMR and LP can get so bad it's better to start a new acc than trying to climb with an existant one. I used to be Gold 1, had 80% WR in my Season 13 placements and got placed in Bronze 4. I lose so many LP and gain so little, I need a constant 65% WR to very slowly climb, 60 maintains my rank and a 55% WR over like a hundred games saw me demoted from Bronze 1 back to Bronze 4. I make a new Acc and hit Gold 1 within a week and low Plat after two, but I cant get my Main out of Bronze. Also, my matchups are like this: my Team: Bronze 4, Silver 3, Bronze 2, unranked lvl 30, unranked lvl 30 against: Gold 2, Gold 4, Silver 2, Bronze 3, unraked level 950 (former Plat who hasnt played his placements for the season yet) and I somehow lose 30 LP for losing that with a 4.0 kda and an A+ score cuz 2 lanes go 0/15 There's a dude who goes for Challanger Rank 1 in every season on every single server, and he gave up on a Grandmaster account because it got hardstuck with messed up LP and matchmaking. He made a new Acc on the server and easily hit Challanger. But he considered it faster to level up an entire new acc and play it up through all the divisions than to grind his way out of Grandmaster on the acc that got fcked over.
Great thing to say all that regarding you need COORDINATION to do most of those plays, even the letting an objective go. You can ping off, you can type calmly in chat, and sometimes all your team does is the opposite. So Another example, that happens A LOT in low elo: getting baron and going straight to dragon, losing time with the buff and sometimes even dying for it and losing it all. Even pinging a bunch, typing to push lanes and give up dragon (enemy team will lose base if they try dragon), people just ignore. So what power play do you do alone if your whole team goes dragon in a bad situation, because pushing by yourself still can't be the only answer
I'm usually playing 6-7 games a week, doing all my best at crushing my enemy laner, csing even denying my opponent exp. Roaming, taking the jung camps of enemy team, beggin to my team to listen to my calls and that im too strong, but hopelessly watching my teammates contesting the scond dragon of the game while our jung is dead and the enemy team has the numbers advantage then killing all my teammates then they flame me for not joining them in death party the losing. Makes my mental go boom.
Yeah I'm with you. I often take first kill, first tower, and I look down to find my bot lane 0/14 trying to steal the drake and when I try to get them to swap they tell me to piss off. So then you can only counter jungle so much and if your out of lane to long you just hand a free tower over, so in the end your stalled out waiting to be ganked by a jungler who suddenly realizes your dangerous.
Important question : How can we escape low elo as a carry solo player ? All the videos around are telling the same things : focus objectives, don't die for free, farm for gold and exp lead, ... Let's say i do this, do u really think the low elo garbage team will do the same ? They only care about getting kills and stacking drakes even when they can't contest them. I see people farm jgl with nash buff, and they will insult if you dare asking them to push a lane. So now, what kind of advice should i get to secure a win ? I'm not saying i'm the best, there are some games where i get rekt. But i also have plenty of game with Sett taking 8 structures and yet loosing ... I'm not against loosing, as long as the game was fun. Some players are better or some team fight are thrilling and what ever the outcome, it was fun. I just hate loosing because nobody has a single clue how to win a game. I bought a smurf and ended up playing wih G1-P3 (player will still troll when getting tilted, but at leaast they know what to do to win). But my main acount is stuck s4/s3. And trust me I play the same way, with the same champs in both accounts.
I’ve implemented several strategies hector has shared with us and all of a sudden my cs doesn’t go under 6/m and I’m always highest gold and vision with consistent 4+kda, thanks skillcapped!
I feel like the reason is more that it would take hundreds of games to rank up even with above a 60% winrate, which wouldn't be so bad, if 50% of games didn't have somebody going afk or mid laner running it down because they got ganked once..
Not with that attitude. Unfortunately you have to expand your skill sets and game knowledge to be significantly better than both your enemy laner and the entire lobby. Otherwise you remain hardstuck repeating the same gameplay and not seeing opportunities to win more games.
@@lWlKingofSpadeslWl Attitude my asz. This game's matchmaking is rigged AF. 6 win streak with smurf-like teammates, 6 loss streak with garbage teammates and smurfing opponents, rinse and repeat. It's impossible to climb.
So jax should invade when his mid is being pushed in while the enemy janna jarvan and ahri are around the area and he is 200 HP? Doesn't seem like the best move
That happened only after Jarvan spent a good amount of time chipping away at the turret. So he could have farmed the jungle, probably not gotten Raptors as the video said, but recalled after two camps after seeing Jarvan pathing upwards.
real tips: if you have ruined your mmr make a new account and boost your mmr in normal games before you hit level 30 and start ranked games because normal game's mmr is used for first time ranked and play only your best champ, ppl in normal aren't as tryhard as those inr anked you'll see more troll picks more off-role opponent and by being the one that tryhard you'll get higher mmr with lower effort. it worked for me, i started ranked placing it g4 in 10 wins for 6 loses doing (+35lp -19lp) avoiding the silver to gold bo3, queuing against g3 to p3 in ranked so i thiink this account can get plat 4 without much effort because if i keep the same wr (62%) almost 2 win for 1 lose if i don't start chain losing and ruining my mmr by playing at the skill level required i can expect to get p4 in 50 games 100+ if im unlucky with the teamates i get or never if im not good enought in contrast on a stuck silver account with ruined mmr it took me 40 games at 76% wr and good teamates to get to gold 4 and my mmr was like (+20lp -27lp) and i have really low hope to get this account to plat4 in less than 200 games or ever because maitaining 3win for 1 lose constantly is much harder than 2win for 1lose and the bigger my difference beetween my elo and my mmr will be the less lp im gonna win so if by chance and skill i can get to g1 i will probably have (+19lp -35lp) wich is really demoralising and demanding
The sad thing is, in low elo wards or any form of vision are few and far between. There’s a lot of games as a solo or mid laner I’d legit never be able to trade because I have no clue where the enemy jungler is until they step into my own ward.
Hard agree. As a support main, I find vision control super hard to get safely. Am I warding an appropriate place where the vision I get is useful? And will I die if. I try to get vision on an objective? I watch a los of tutorials on it and try hard but I am still far from good
Hello y’all! I’ve been reading the comments, I’ll take this as the opportunity to improve pacing for the next one. I’m a huge fan of skillcapped and supporter of their content. I’ll improve pacing and go for a more relaxed from now onward! For reference, I am almost Platinum in league! If you have any suggestions, feel free to drop them below 💙😁
I have a short attention span. So I could only pay attention for the first 20 seconds. What I'm walking away with is I need to eat a Mediterranean diet.
I'm going to list off every aspect of this video that they listed, and explain how it doesn't actually help you climb, because I do everything they say and I'm still low elo: "Don't contest objectives you can't contest, Don't die like this Rek'sai and you can be a good player" And I don't. When I die in a dragon fight, it's because my whole team was full health, and their whole team was full health, and we just don't win the fight for miscellaneous impossible to read reasons. "Coordinate with your team after taking baron" And I do. I try to figure out if someone should split or if we should push as 5, and I ping accordingly. I try to group with whoever seems strongest to pressure something, and ping for grouping a lot. "Don't share turret plates if there are other things to get nearby" Sometimes I do, but you got me there, sometimes I share plates, but I'm willing to bet the reason why I'm still Iron is not because I share turret plates with laners too much. "Be aware of the enemy jungler" And I usually am. I guess sometimes I will die to a jungle gank, but who the fuck doesn't? I'm usually not dying to ganks though. But I'm still Iron because it's actually impossible to carry against legendary Akali from mid lane.
Things I learned: 1 - Never do objectives. 2 - Never do Baron. 3 - Never try to take tower plates. 4 - Never trade with the enemy laner. I can already smell challenger!
The biggest problem people have is they dont know how to play from behind. They will gove 3 early kills, their opponents have a full item on them, and they keep dueling thinking they can win the even 1v1 or 2v2 duel they have lost again and again. Last few days I've had 0-12 top vs atrox. 2-15 jungle yi. A bot lane losing to a cheese strat 2-16 by 10 min. Sometimes, in low elo games, it's not you. In bronze you can 1v5 if you need to. In silver, people are starting to get skills, and it's much harder to overcome massive gold/item leads. Don't get me wrong. I've had my share of mistakes. I'll own up to um. But it is frustrating when I main adc, ill go 3-0-2 or something similar, but it doesn't matter when I have a 0-9 top vs atrox. Or the enemy fizz now is 7-2-6 free roaming. The times I've seen people type "what is that damage!?" When it's vs a yas or other champ that has 4 complete items when the rest of the team has completed maybe 2 astounds me.
Low ELO games play their own game, and if things doesn't go their way, they blame the teammates for not playing their game. Higher ELO play with their team, blame themselves and think what they could have done better if the game fails.
If you've been Hardstuck for years, I want you to google what has been going on with the MMR system and LP Gains/Losses. You might realize that you're just straight up gaining and losing disproportionate amounts of LP per game compared to others.
Want to know how to really climb out of bronze/silver? Avoid bad team compositions. Take the 5 Minute abandonment, its not worth it. Think of how fights will go in terms of matchups in lanes and team fights. For Example, Sett Top , Master yi Jungle, Zed mid vs Ornn Top, Trundle Jungle, Vel koz Mid. This this a terrible matchup for the Ornn, Trundle and Vel Koz. Why? Vel Koz will get on shot during team fights, Ornn and Trundle wont have the ability to deal with Yi Ultimate or Zed. Take this tip into consideration.
Recently got a lvl 30 yasuo and an lvl 44 jhin adc , in the draft stage yasuo said well , im a newbie and im that one yasuo that goes 0/10 , later on yasuo stops farming and dies 15 times , jhin goes 0/3 and lets his support roam and die a few more times . Thats the low elo , raising your map awareness wont make your 0/15 yas go godmode and carry neither make your jhin think about his responsibilities. Even with all that info you wont be able to comtest the game against fed opponents who play better than your whole team at their peak... After that game i started getting shitlow adc like a 4 mil point jinx that died on the first minute and a few more times with her support. Got a 7 ranked loss streak currently on 1 win since.
as a Support main i love to play with high elo adc (plat, dia, master) they are so smart and they can handle what you doing and what you want to do. but im in low elo and a good adc is a rare thing
i admit i make a good amount of mistakes, but over half of the games i play in ranked are decided if some of your teammates want to play the game or not
I was silver 1 promo to gold. Lost first promo but then got to it in a cupple of games, and thats where i started losing everygame for 3 days straight, i main rengar and its impossible to win most games because when i gank my team reacts late or dosent.. when i get invaded *i have prio mid and bot* even when spam pinging i never get help to kill the enemy jungler so i have to give up my camps, people dont ward (enemy always does) idk bruh im cursed
Isn't the Jax in the "Go invade instead of taking plates" example way too low to do that? Considering, that the enemy jungler should also path towards the red, he could get blown up and die instantly... And I am genuinely asking, if I should invade with a low health bar there...
@@lashedandscorned After I wrote my question, I found the answer underneath another similar post: Jax should know, that Jarvan is bot, because he uses the Herald, so he can go invade.
Sometimes i think the match is lost before i accept it and the mostf frust thing is that i really try win soemtimes make cool plays for nothing win8,9 lose 2 is like i didnt win at all
Well sometime you face something irregular like 3 tank comp, you need to learn how to hard counter some comp and learn from your mistake. Practicing lot of game to get more skilled and learn matchup to win at draft.
The real challenge is when you get cornered with your teammates bad game decisions… we know we have to make decisions based of what your team does but when they do stupid things you are just helpless… gotta say gold ranked is the worst queue we get out off
@@akatsukicloak Both you and the person who posted this are in low elo because you deserve to be in low elo. If i played on your disgusting low elo accounts I would easily climb. keep smoking that copium.
That's litterally what most "pros" take a lack of consideration of when it comes to this, your entire team comp and the people on your side in general dictate the game. You play perfectly and still lose.
3:46 Is it still in the game that u can see the enemies jngl animal while they are hiding in a bush? I know this was a replay but could Lee have seen it or was it removed?
The real reason is because half the time you get random players that do not work together, pure luck with matchups and hope for a rate higher than 50% to have players on your team that don't give away the game, grief, give up, feed, refuse to work as a team etc.
Climbed s2 to g1 with ~20lp per win and -27lp on loses... 1 game before promo (after 4 game hot streak) i get a 0/10 ori and 1/10 cassio supp... (me abusing mao top and claping a p4 aurelion)... riot just loves to keep me hardstuck in gold...
The thing about low elo players is accountability and their narcissistic personality they always think that they never make bad decisions and it's always the teammates fault put them all into a team and pretty much you're not climbing anywhere. That is why you should avoid team strategies on low elo and focus on 1v9 you have a better chance at that unless you somehow win the lottery and got 4 good teammates who know how to synergize in the slightest way.
I quit playing bot, because when I push lane and back, my support always stays, then they die, and blame me for their death, when if they had backed with me we would both have an item advantage and they wouldn't have died
Why is this video telling me that I need to make my team coordinate with me in soloqueue? Every other Skill Capped video addresses that you can't make these random people actually listen to what is right to do. This video just says "low elo bad, high elo good" they look at a Teemo throwing, and say the other 4 should group together, as if Qiyana could tell Caitlyn and Fiddlesticks to stop taking buffs and Lux to stop going for drag. Had Qiyana stayed mid solo and stalled the wave, she could have been collapsed on, then you would be saying she did things wrong. She chose to group with Lux in the river with Fiddlesticks and Caitlyn coming up behind them, even though her positioning showed she was reluctant to leave mid. What should Qiyana have actually done here?
This video isn't saying to make your team coordinate. It was showing something each person could have done to help synergize better with the rest of the team. Personally, I think Qiyana and Lux should have reset then advanced to Dragon with Cait and Fiddle. Standing in that bush was just asking to get steamrolled since they didn't have any backup.
@@Darion350 I don't understand why Qiyana and Lux are grouped together. Qiyana, reacting to the game state, left mid to go towards Lux in the river. Lux stopped in the bush and Qiyana initially walked past her before standing alongside her in the bush. Qiyana then proactively wards the enemy jungle entrance bush. Coming back to the river where Fiddlesticks and Caitlyn are now present. They see the Camille TPing in and Fiddlesticks approaches that, being collapsed on by Annie. Qiyana, Lux and Caitlyn then follow up trying to protect the Fiddlesticks leading into a bad fight. I am failing to see how Qiyana resetting prevents this from happening. Lux was already making that play looking for a pick, Fiddlesticks was dead set on taking Blue then Drag. Caitlyn was super late to the party altogether. And Teemo was suicidal. I just don't see any advice shown that is beneficial to Qiyana. It says "Lux and Qiyana" as if Qiyana has a say in what Lux is doing. They said that either one could push mid to maintain pressure, but if Qiyana pushes up alone, she dies solo. In which case she would be blamed as the catalyst that made everything go wrong instead of Teemo. All of this wouldn't matter to me if the video hadn't condescendingly said "these players could easily fix these issues" when I see no advice that benefits that player. This is soloqueue I don't understand why that segment focused on how the team could play better instead of focusing on what individuals could have done differently.
@@abonynge I think the takeaway is "If you're lux or Qiyana, this is what you should do" rather than treating them as a unit because yeah you're right you can only control 1 player's actions. It's a bad example to use to make that point, but i think that was the point to be made.
@@Tugreo The issue is that the instruction for Lux/Qiyana was to push mid, which would have lead to them being collapsed on same as Teemo. That team all went different directions and made a pile of mistakes. It was a prime example of the low elo throws that even smurfs struggle with.
Its so unfair when I get an s- on hwei on ranking and then have 4 games where I have people who feed and throw the game and end up in Iron IV... its so irritating I hate that they rarely get punished too.
I have a question to the Reskai tp part. Reksai is underground so she only see circles for player so is that. Why she could not see the tp. Dont play her so the question.
when she is buried she have access to her team's vision, from whatever source, champions, minions, wards, etc. Is just the range of her self-generating vision that gets drastically reduced. Thats not the point though, as teleports can be seen from anywhere on the map, no matter what
Literally cant climb due to loser's que. Just had a mid pick ashe into akali and belvath and proceeds to feed both and a jg that didnt know how to farm. I hate this game.
B4 here... did exactly same thing as Jax... suddenly Wukong jumps on me by golems and kills me. Lemme get this straight: in low elo, theres no rules. Its like lottery where the jungler will go or not. Higher elo, maybe yes but try play low elo and then tell me otherwise :D
Skill is secondary. Elo hell is when in the past 100 games I have an average of 20LP for Win and I lose an average of 28LP for Losing the game. So, the math says that I have to have a win rate that is higher than 58,3% to be able to climb out of this shitty GOLD which is ridiculously absurd.
Matchmaking feels really whack. I think your team determines games. When I was stuck in silver, I would go on a 4-6 win streak then lose 4 games in a row, and so on. I don’t think there’s anyway people can consistently go on win streaks then loss streaks over and over u less the game was making you win/lose.
Being hardstuck is no fact, it´s a mentality my lp gains are +16/-36 right now, but i still managed to climb 150lp over the weekend, because of a massive winstreak
hate to break it to you but if you lose 4 games, you will be right where u left off or even lower. Your account is hardstuck and a 'massive' winstreak wont fix it.
I'm in low elo because of the dumb people I get paired with, 0 macro game, 0 reflexes, 0 game sense and never looking at the map, I'm so fed up of complete noobs ruining my games
I used to think this way as well until I realized I wasn't nearly as good as I thought I was and I had to improve which, surprisingly enough, got me out of low ELO. If you're a high ELO skilled player, you will get to high ELO regardless of the people you're matched up with.
@Darion350 believe me I try, I'm not saying I play perfectly because I make my mistakes but other players seriously drag me down, btw thanks for responding with respect :)
Exactly. No excuses everyone gets bad teams you know. Possibly some games you are that guy aswell. XD. I think best way to get out of there is consistent effort to improve. Simple but hard ofic.
I am the average Gold 4 enjoyer. But this Season I was Stuck in Silver had like 60 games lose streeak finally dropped from silver 1 to silver 4 0 lp.. And i am sayinig its because of shitty teammates, the account tankd with shit teammates. I can say it with confidence, cause i switched to my Smurf which was a bronze account. played myself to gold in around 30 games. no problem there.
i swear i always wanna disengage and ping a million times but no one listens. but im not exactly that good mechanically or macro-ly but sometimes i can spot dumb fights
sounds like a free uncontested baron to me. i have apetpeeve when people instantly recall after baron out of habit, instead of just catching a wave. I am not saying I am a challenger at all but I feel like this is why id do better a bit out of iron or bonze just people would see the bigger picture and see why im doing what im doing.
welp im arleady quite good tho still cant get out because my team is full of trolls that always end up with 1/20/5 even tho they're are using eazy champs such as mf pantheon etc
If it's like that then you should climb. If you are fed every game then that means statistically the enemy team should be worse than yours. Just play more games if that's the case and stay positive because you should climb eventually
ye but i have trollers too, for an example: my top goes 1/12 in 15mins, and then he starts trolling and feed it more or build something that isnt for his champ and flash into walls and other things. I have this like in every 2 game. @@xoan7278
Me in low elo knowing how to let go of objetives but my team doest so they give a quadra to the enemy samira one by one, lose dragon anyway and ping the hell outta me
Maybe its because that guy has played league with 3 friends during 4 years while i play solo q and i only find teemo jungle and a smurf leesin in the enemy team
@@RocoPwnage To be fair the video did tell you to get a team that actually listens and coordinates in solo queue. That doesn't happen every game in low elo. Comparing high elo players grouping to low elo players not grouping doesn't make sense. Qiyana in the clip shown was reluctant to leave mid until she was left solo against multiple opponents. Then she moved to stand with Lux in the river with Fiddlesticks and Caitlyn coming up from the jungle. But we get told we need to make our team 4 man push mid. What should Qiyana have actually done differently with the team she had? Solo hold mid and get collapsed on? Recall and watch them all die? She was left with a terrible situation and we were just told "make the people who won't listen to you do what you want"
IMPROVE FAST and RANK UP at: www.skill-capped.com/lol 👈👈👈👈👈

100%, i been working on my mental and climb from g3 to p2
The comments to this video verify that lol. Actually kind of sad to see. I had thought the "Elo hell" mentality went away in season 3 or 4, but 10 years later people still can't figure out that they are the problem.
My mental holds me back so much in this game. I auto pilot the moment things don’t start out great and only engage my brain when i’m ahead.
I take fights I shouldn’t, try to save my teammates when I have no business involving myself, make stupid plays trying to appease the ragers in my games. I have to constantly engage my brain and keep cool to climb and I fail hard every couple of games.
even a lot of high elo players have terrible mental, it's a problem across the board lol
I was Ksante top vs Yorick who got a 3-0 lead. I should just blame myself right?
The worst thing in low ELO is that no one listens to anything you cloud ping 50 time's to retreat and they still jump in
Well but everyone in low elo dont know what they're doin, including the ones pinging to retreat

@@QuanNguyen-fb1rdI push mid/side lane to at least get pressure and gold/xp
The main 2 things that took me to gold from bronze were super simple.
1) split push champ and constantly split, dont push unless you know where at least 3 players are or should be (based on where they were over the past 30 secs).
2) LET YOUR TEAM CARRY YOU, if your adc is 7/1 with +30cs for the love of god dont feed the enemy mid/top/jng whatever it is you play or vice versa if you play bot/supp, just farm safely and no matter what dont die and give an enemy a chance to get ahead
Good advice but doesn't work
Guess what. Game be over in 10 min cuz usually enemy team is so fed from feeders on my team.
How do you when win you can't
@@twistedgambit9084 You don't have to be the main character to win games, stay alive, don't die for free and let your team carry you.

This is all so good but no help anyway troll team will always lost and thats it
Thank you guys so much for atleast trying to help teach better basics for league for free.
Bingo! Even if you play good as a team player these people still manage to perma sit in one lane and fight over a damn tower for 10 to 15 minutes.
I agree people need to learn to just give up dragons 1-3 when behind. So many ints over dragons that are very unlikely to get.
Stupid drakes its the best way To loose botlane

If you fell to iron it’s where you belong. If you are actually a gold ranked player you should never fall below silver 1.

There's a dude who goes for Challanger Rank 1 in every season on every single server, and he gave up on a Grandmaster account because it got hardstuck with messed up LP and matchmaking.
He made a new Acc on the server and easily hit Challanger. But he considered it faster to level up an entire new acc and play it up through all the divisions than to grind his way out of Grandmaster on the acc that got fcked over.

Cooked meat is gr8 for ur brain so try that first
So challangers eats wagyu?
Sounds like terrible advice.
Hey, stranger things have happened.
Great thing to say all that regarding you need COORDINATION to do most of those plays, even the letting an objective go. You can ping off, you can type calmly in chat, and sometimes all your team does is the opposite. So
Another example, that happens A LOT in low elo: getting baron and going straight to dragon, losing time with the buff and sometimes even dying for it and losing it all. Even pinging a bunch, typing to push lanes and give up dragon (enemy team will lose base if they try dragon), people just ignore. So what power play do you do alone if your whole team goes dragon in a bad situation, because pushing by yourself still can't be the only answer
Thank uuu! I wish it was that easy "coordinate with ur team", and what if they don't want to??
I feel u, I win lane 90% of the time when I play my main, but it is impossible to carry as mid mage when no one listens to ur pings 💀
I think adding googly eye eye trackers in-game would make a great addition, for sure.
You have to 1v9 every game until maybe master or above. No other way to climb
Love this reply. What's your peak? I don't even League but I LOVE mindsets
Low elo is where your teammates are trash and your opponents are smurfs. You are not getting out of low elo.
Lol. Welcome back to Elo hell, where all the real shitters are "trapped"
Not with that attitude. Unfortunately you have to expand your skill sets and game knowledge to be significantly better than both your enemy laner and the entire lobby. Otherwise you remain hardstuck repeating the same gameplay and not seeing opportunities to win more games.
We got a riot representative above us guy!!!!
@@lWlKingofSpadeslWl Attitude my asz. This game's matchmaking is rigged AF. 6 win streak with smurf-like teammates, 6 loss streak with garbage teammates and smurfing opponents, rinse and repeat. It's impossible to climb.
There is a good 20% of game that are up to you to win them tho. That's why there are 50% wr accounts and 57%
So jax should invade when his mid is being pushed in while the enemy janna jarvan and ahri are around the area and he is 200 HP? Doesn't seem like the best move
That happened only after Jarvan spent a good amount of time chipping away at the turret. So he could have farmed the jungle, probably not gotten Raptors as the video said, but recalled after two camps after seeing Jarvan pathing upwards.
real tips: if you have ruined your mmr make a new account and boost your mmr in normal games before you hit level 30 and start ranked games because normal game's mmr is used for first time ranked and play only your best champ, ppl in normal aren't as tryhard as those inr anked you'll see more troll picks more off-role opponent and by being the one that tryhard you'll get higher mmr with lower effort.
it worked for me, i started ranked placing it g4 in 10 wins for 6 loses doing (+35lp -19lp) avoiding the silver to gold bo3, queuing against g3 to p3 in ranked so i thiink this account can get plat 4 without much effort because if i keep the same wr (62%) almost 2 win for 1 lose if i don't start chain losing and ruining my mmr by playing at the skill level required i can expect to get p4 in 50 games 100+ if im unlucky with the teamates i get or never if im not good enought
in contrast on a stuck silver account with ruined mmr it took me 40 games at 76% wr and good teamates to get to gold 4 and my mmr was like (+20lp -27lp) and i have really low hope to get this account to plat4 in less than 200 games or ever because maitaining 3win for 1 lose constantly is much harder than 2win for 1lose and the bigger my difference beetween my elo and my mmr will be the less lp im gonna win so if by chance and skill i can get to g1 i will probably have (+19lp -35lp) wich is really demoralising and demanding

@@danieltuong thank you brother!
I have a short attention span. So I could only pay attention for the first 20 seconds. What I'm walking away with is I need to eat a Mediterranean diet.
I'm going to list off every aspect of this video that they listed, and explain how it doesn't actually help you climb, because I do everything they say and I'm still low elo:
"Don't contest objectives you can't contest, Don't die like this Rek'sai and you can be a good player"
And I don't. When I die in a dragon fight, it's because my whole team was full health, and their whole team was full health, and we just don't win the fight for miscellaneous impossible to read reasons.
"Coordinate with your team after taking baron"
And I do. I try to figure out if someone should split or if we should push as 5, and I ping accordingly. I try to group with whoever seems strongest to pressure something, and ping for grouping a lot.
"Don't share turret plates if there are other things to get nearby"
Sometimes I do, but you got me there, sometimes I share plates, but I'm willing to bet the reason why I'm still Iron is not because I share turret plates with laners too much.
"Be aware of the enemy jungler"
And I usually am. I guess sometimes I will die to a jungle gank, but who the fuck doesn't? I'm usually not dying to ganks though.
But I'm still Iron because it's actually impossible to carry against legendary Akali from mid lane.
Things I learned:
1 - Never do objectives.
Because matchmaking is rigged. Loser's queue is predetermined
If you leave Leauge, you leave its low elo as well. An ultimate win combo.
I agree. When my carry is good I get so much better results

i admit i make a good amount of mistakes, but over half of the games i play in ranked are decided if some of your teammates want to play the game or not
I was silver 1 promo to gold.
I guess it depends on the champion & whether you can heal off of the camps or not.
@@lashedandscorned After I wrote my question, I found the answer underneath another similar post: Jax should know, that Jarvan is bot, because he uses the Herald, so he can go invade.

Well sometime you face something irregular like 3 tank comp, you need to learn how to hard counter some comp and learn from your mistake. Practicing lot of game to get more skilled and learn matchup to win at draft.
The real challenge is when you get cornered with your teammates bad game decisions… we know we have to make decisions based of what your team does but when they do stupid things you are just helpless… gotta say gold ranked is the worst queue we get out off
Who is this host? Excellent analysis.
When the enemy jungler is comming and you fight the 3 v 2 and I (adc) die but get 3 kills. Is this a good or rather fine play?
I think it deosnt help me. I am at low elo cause i stopped playing LoL after getting to silver. Any tips?

The real reason is because half the time you get random players that do not work together, pure luck with matchups and hope for a rate higher than 50% to have players on your team that don't give away the game, grief, give up, feed, refuse to work as a team etc.
what elo are you?

Thats not the point though, as teleports can be seen from anywhere on the map, no matter what
Reksai missed the tp cause she was traveling underground at the moment it was happening

B4 here... did exactly same thing as Jax... suddenly Wukong jumps on me by golems and kills me.

I used to think this way as well until I realized I wasn't nearly as good as I thought I was and I had to improve which, surprisingly enough, got me out of low ELO. If you're a high ELO skilled player, you will get to high ELO regardless of the people you're matched up with.
