Heads up: incoming wall of text. First of all, you have my gratitude for taking time from your day and making this video. I just finished watching it with my girl and it was a lot of fun. While Trunks isn't MY favorite character from the series, I certainly have a strong appreciation for Dragon Ball and what Toriyama did with this rich universe. Despite how HUGE this franchise is, I often get the feeling people underestimate how much of a great creative mind this mangaka has and how many iconic characters he came up with. The fact that you get to have SO many different figures of the same character in different stages of his life (well, there are multiple trunks but let's keep it simple) and even from many members of his family speaks volumes about the world building in this story. The fact that, as a franchise, it's been going on for decades also gives us stuff made in collaboration with other artists, like GT & Super. Speaking about the former, I like that you even have some very cool gashapon with Trunks & Giru since I love that little robot and it's nigh impossible to get merchandising of him even if I will keep trying lol. I also really enjoyed how you have a lot of releases from different years; there's a certain charm in vintage stuff that makes you appreciate the evolution of technology in modern figures. Last but not least, it always spikes my curiosity how most people that collects statues do not own/showcase SHFiguarts or viceversa; especially considering the Dragon Ball line that's been going strong for 10 years is one of the most consistent action figures lines I've seen. Then again I'm more of an action figure collector so I guess we all have our biases. Once again, thank you very much, congratulations for 300 subs and here's hoping for a LOT MORE in the future.
I appreciate your input. I agree with a lot of what you said. I have no issues with SHFiguarts type stuff but unfortunately I’m just not much of a possible action figure type collector.
