I feel like sometimes Tim wants his audience to engage more when he asks questions, but I also feel like his audience are mesmerised by the message and his voice. Thank you Father for Tim!
I am very active LDS, yes, we are Christian, and I love your sermons. I take much of what I learn and pass it on during my lessons. Always wonderful to hear and learn from others who's love of the Holy Scriptures, Jesus, and growing as a human is of upmost value. Thanks! !
Hi Pastor Tim, Such a timely message for me. This teaching compliments what my counselor has been working on with me. The intentionality of developing a Christlike way of being vs a “church like” way of living. I am forever thankful to God for allowing me to stumble upon this teaching. May the Lord continue to bless & keep you. I pray you will BE ENCOURAGED IN ALL YOU DO FOR THE LORD, AS SO MANY ARE BEING BLESSED. Peace & Blessings Shay
it's funny to see a video of you from 2017 coz I know your voice from the bible project! AND I LOVE IT! thank you for this series i think I gonna like it! Praise GOD!
thanks Pastor Tim Mackie for the good work and sharing your teachings to the world or else i wouldnt have had the opportunity to know, to receive and to grow more in Christ.
Jesus is a wonderful Jew of course Please do not get discouraged by crazy making people. You are the most powerful kind encouraging and right on Christian 🥰❤️❤️
Could Hagah’s meaning be something like chewing the cud? When I read scriptures I talk with the Lord about it. I ask Him questions. I pray for wisdom to understand how it applies in my life, and plead with Him to help me obey what He says to me. It is as though we are walking together in a solitary place where He teaches me how to understand Him and love Him more. In this way the scriptures are never flat or boring. It is as the old hymn said “ and He walks with me and He talks with me…”How loving and good is our LORD.
I was wondering if I could get hold of the handout, otherwise maybe a sort of explanation of how to do it? another video or another reference? As a new christian it would be really helpful to actually learn how to do it. Thank you for your videos though, I found them extremely helpful in understanding Jesus and Christianity, alongside The Bible Project :) Keep up the good work please!
Awesome message! Even with all of the distraction of the “Walker Family.” Sure wish folks would do what they need to do before the pastor starts speaking.
Thank you so much for this message. Your teaching is amazing, God bless you! Can you please direct me where can I find: lectio divina handout you're referring to on the door of hope website.
Hi Pastor Tim, thank you so much for sharing these sermons they have been such a phenomenal assistance in my growth as a Christian. May God continue to bless you, your family and your work. I know this is like 3 years after this sermon was posted, but I am now listening to it. I went to the Door of Hope website I found the sermon but no links to the handouts to go with. Can you advise if these are still available and where I can find them?
If you go to "Tim Mackie Discussion Group" on Facebook, you will find this handout there. Unfortunately I can't attach any file here, so you should download it from there.
this is so helpful and needed! I love the way you bring the word of God to life. question though - I can't find the lectio divina handout you're referring to on the door of hope website. can you direct me to a link please? thanks!
So glad it helpful. I do not have access to that handout. This channel has no association with Tim Mackie or Door of Hope. It's merely a warehouse for his teachings.
"Are you with me?" (Trade Mark)
Holy Cow!
"Jesus makes us all uncomfortable"
Jesus led me to Tim. Thank you Lord, bless you Tim.

This is great! Dies anyone knows where to find the handout he mentions to practice this ?

How can we get to know Jesus and God if we don't spend time alone with them?
Where is the website and the lectio divina mentioned at 46:00 ?
Awesome video! I might have just missed it, but what was the title of the book written by Dallas Willard?
The book he is referring to in this video is "The Spirit of the Disciplines: Understanding How God Changes Lives" - Dallas Willard. :)
Is that Michael Stevens at 3:57?
Hey, thanks for uploading.. But where is "Serving and Being Served" and "Resting and Working" of the Spiritual Symmetry series?
You're welcome. Those were given by Josh White. You can find those here at the Door of Hope website.

@@timmackiearchives6837 hey is that 3 page hand out of this practice still available!? I would love to print it out and practice daily
To me it seems so rude that people keep moving around while Tim Mackie is talking. Aren't they as interested as I am? Do they even appreciate him?
I was definitely distracted by the one woman in the beginning who kept getting up. Lol. Even when they zoomed in on him, we could still see her.

Did you find Lectio divina handout? Help!
Why does Jesus call iit a cup when he says "Father, take this cup away from me."
Maybe he was meditating on Psalm 116?
Hello how can I get this handbook now
What was the name of book he suggested in the beginning?
I believe it is The Spirit of the Disciplines
by Dallas Willard
What's the name of his book? Dallas Willard's???
I also am looking for the title of the book recommended from author Dallas Willard....
The book Tim is referring to is "The Spirit of the Disciplines: Understanding How God Changes Lives" - Dallas Willard.
Thank you for stepping in and helping out the other folks.
This is Chastity,
It's werid that I don't lack solitude but community.
Why is everything 3 years old? Any new stuff?
