The T7 Shield has issues. It only writes at 1-2 mb/s, regardless of port or cable, unless I change its policy to Performance with Caching. None of my other SSDs do this. I've had 2 of them and they're both like this.
I just watched two other videos on best SSD drives and both mentioned that the Sandisk Extreme used to be very reliable but in the last year many people are reporting data loss on them. One video suggested not to consider them and the other video mentioned the fact that they used to be reliable but news about them has turned negative about the reliability if you care about your data. ruclips.net/video/hg2AVhkJ-uw/видео.htmlsi=DGiPym010bYyFL-o&t=102 They are popular on the `Zon, though. I've bought a few myself. Manufacturing changes over time and companies may be taking shortcuts or going with cheaper manufacturers. Plus if America gets hit with tariffs, companies will opt for cheaper manufacturing in order to work on off-setting the price of manufacturing and shipping. Also use the "3 - 2 - 1" advice on backing up your data to various places to safely store data.
@markvogel4341 absolutely! Definitely use the 3-2-1 method for backing up your data. I haven’t heard about the data loss or have had issues with data loss on mine. Will def check this out though.

None. Just buy a 2TB ssd strip and plug it into a enclosure. Then you are set.
