If you launch the leader special and it doesn't help you win the fight just crash the fight before your last character dies. The game let's you start the fight again with your leader skill again but you won't be able to use it that fight (so it only helps during fights 1 and 2). Basically you get to keep your leader skill and use it on the next fight.

Grand party feels incredibly p2w, like for me anyway as i dont have g5 or some other staple rumble characters and i just get ran through if they have any of the decent teams is there f2p options to help me get 9 wins or do i just need to pray to gacha gods?

To get 9-12 wins it really isnt with good strategy

I got back to the Game After a while, didnt get g5. All my GP matchups where G5 and even without decent Teams on my enemys the Burst keeps on wracking me.
So i think I will leave the Game untill anni. The Game is still at that point where it’s Not fun to play unless you have the newest of the newest. … dammn and I Play on a account that has a lot of Units because im on from day one with a lot of on and offs.

Whilst it is better with the units, you can still do a lot without them. :))
