This era was truly just THAT BITCH UGH, everything about this era was so beautiful and amazing and the fandom felt so healthy at the time. Their best music was their hyyh imo, it hits like no other albums do. Their sound during this era was so distinct and was so unique. All the promo pics were so iconic too, truly an era for the ages

it was beautiful. i hate to make you feel worse but it was beautiful. it was, quite literally, the most beautiful moment in life. they were so alive. like they were fighting to make a name for themselves but they weren't unknown. they were happy. they were just bts. they weren't world's largest boy band. they were just. bts. they were young, falling in love, falling out of love, making sexual innuendos, and just being boys. if i close my eyes and listen to these songs, it almost feels i'm still listening to those young boys who were still chasing after their dreams.

I love when BTS does songs like this because you can hear how different everyone's voice is. Like Jin's voice is sweet and soft, while Jimin's is refreshing and free. Jungkook's voice is calm yet alluring. V's voice is deep and sensual. Suga's voice has a cold edge to it. Rap Monster's voice is welcoming yet mysterious. J-Hope's voice is charming and unique. I really like songs like this (yes I realize I went on a rant about how their voices sound, don't judge me)

This song did wonders for the vocal line, honestly every single one shone so much and Jimin’s ad libs are some of his best here. His ad libs at the end are so, so important to help the song reach its cathartic end and he did such a good job of it. I’m so proud bc this really is one of my favourite songs. :(

I do deeply miss this Era, it honestly was such a fun-filled rollacoaster era. Everything was so new and fresh then ( not complaining it's old now but like old memories are gold can't deny that). Just had begun to stan BTS then ah I miss it ALOT so much that it gets tears and sometimes a happy sad smile( idk what that expression is but I'm happy BTS achieved such great heights but also that I miss these times that it is literally choking at times from being overwhelmed with all types of emotions). For me this was the era that defined BTS the most. Going into HYYH initially, I was super sceptical and disappointed as I liked their hip hop, bad boy sound so much and they decided to change it. But it turned out to be the best. I went from an Army who used to Stan other groups as well to a full time Army who only stanned BTS with HYYH. I recently got HYYH tattooed on my arm because that’s how much impact this era created in me.

How I miss this kind of song that BTS always sing, I mean their new song are great I admit it, but nothing can beat their song in HYYH era. 😭💙
I got into BTS during HYYH era. The sound and vibe of the songs in this era resonates with me a lot. I don't think any other era gives me the same overwhelming feeling like this era. My favorite songs are Dead Leaves and House of Cards for a rraaon. It's really beautiful, mysterious, nostalgic. I think only people that either became ARMY during this time or were ARMY during this era will understand what we mean when we say HYYH was the best era. It were simpler times of being a fan and most fans were real fans that didn't jump on the BTS is popular bandwagon but just found them and listened to them naturally and loved them despite the low numbers of views or popularity. Not saying most fans now are hopping on bandwagons, but I know a lot are.

Jweel Es no that is a rumor, but j-hope definitely was not a rapper before bts debuted. he was in a dance group then became a back-up dancer. he was gonna be a vocalist in bts, i'll try to find a video where he says it cause he was singing backstage and a staff says "you were gonna be a vocalist, yes?" and he replies "yes thats right." and i think jin is there and calls him the golden hyung. but bts was originally gonna be a rap group but bighit changed their mind for some reason and a lot of members had to leave or switch out, kidoh from toppdogg was in the original line up i think. idk if the tae rumor is true but it makes sense since tae said he almost didnt get in, and theres the video of hobi saying he was gonna be a vocalist. v even auditioned with a rap, too.

i miss this era sm :( the fandom was a lot less toxic and they looked like they were really enjoying themselves!! i really do miss 2015 - 2018 bts. yeah, their new songs are still really good but their old songs just hit so different and give off such a pretty vibe. the nostalgia that this song gives me hits so hard too; i genuinely feel like crying so much. they’ve grown up a lot and their style of music has changed too but this song will forever have a special place in my heart. it’s not well known but it’s fucking amazing. this era was absolutely beautiful and had no flaws; it was just perfect.
It's not that the fandom is more toxic, it's that there are more people in the fandom since 2015. There are plenty of people in our fandom that act toxic, but there are also plenty more people who act kind and respectful. It's just like any other fandom, except we are one of the bigger ones. As for BTS, they don't have one style, they are always experimenting, so they haven't really "changed" it. There is always a chance that some future songs may have this song's style when the mood fits.

one thing I've noticed about BTS is that their background vocals are extraordinary and stand out quite nicely. I have never paid so much attention to the background vocals in any song until I started listening to BTS' songs. this song in particular has such amazing background vocals - so amazing that I almost cried every time I hear Jimin's mesmerizing voice in the background. 😍😍😍

every damn rap in this song was so poetic. hoseoks was so powerful that it was like he was rapping with his entire living BEING. yoongi and namjoons were so lyrically clever and delivered beautifully. this song, i can safely say, is one of their best.

Snoepchinees yeah tru i too was heavily into that music at some point but slowly digressed , and i had friends who were into kpop and I remember listening to some kpop ( specifically bts dope back when it was blowing up and even tho the theme of that was no were near the love topic) i still didn't find myself interested til a couple of months ago but thats whats great about bts their music has a lot versatility , to the point were u would listen to one song and listen to another and not believe its by the same group of people

Sameee, it almost makes me sad remembering how passionate I was about them & now not knowing if I'll ever be as passionate about something in my life again.. I still love them, but it's not as extreme as it was when I was 14 & I'm about to turn 19. I went through all my important teen years with BTS & I guess I'm just scared I won't be passionate about them at all one day. My love for them isn't something I wanna lose as I begin to live my life & make new memories. 😭💖
