Composing and sampling are two different things, he sampled a piece from a free online music library but he edited, changed, and layered that one sample a LOT and in the end we have this song. Sampling means to use one piece of a recording as it is and reuse it in a different recording. So Suga did compose this.
Listening to all of their old songs just makes me tear up. Like in all honesty. Like... I’m so proud of them in so many ways that I can’t even explain. They are no longer boys, but young men. No matter where or who the person is... they will continue to touch hearts. I’m a proud ARMY and I love Bangtan with all of my heart.
Their older songs, wings and back, but especially hyyh... Wow, absolute maserpieces. Tbh i've kinda drifted away from bts and their new sound, yet always coming back to the oldies. I got into BTS during HYYH era. The sound and vibe of the songs in this era resonates with me a lot. I don't think any other era gives me the same overwhelming feeling like this era. My favorite songs are Dead Leaves and House of Cards for a rraaon. It's really beautiful, mysterious, nostalgic. I think only people that either became ARMY during this time or were ARMY during this era will understand what we mean when we say HYYH was the best era. It were simpler times of being a fan and most fans were real fans that didn't jump on the BTS is popular bandwagon but just found them and listened to them naturally and loved them despite the low numbers of views or popularity. Not saying most fans now are hopping on bandwagons, but I know a lot are.

For me this was the era that defined BTS the most. Going into HYYH initially, I was super sceptical and disappointed as I liked their hip hop, bad boy sound so much and they decided to change it. But it turned out to be the best. I went from an Army who used to Stan other groups as well to a full time Army who only stanned BTS with HYYH. I recently got HYYH tattooed on my arm because that’s how much impact this era created in me.

Jweel Es no that is a rumor, but j-hope definitely was not a rapper before bts debuted. he was in a dance group then became a back-up dancer. he was gonna be a vocalist in bts, i'll try to find a video where he says it cause he was singing backstage and a staff says "you were gonna be a vocalist, yes?" and he replies "yes thats right." and i think jin is there and calls him the golden hyung. but bts was originally gonna be a rap group but bighit changed their mind for some reason and a lot of members had to leave or switch out, kidoh from toppdogg was in the original line up i think. idk if the tae rumor is true but it makes sense since tae said he almost didnt get in, and theres the video of hobi saying he was gonna be a vocalist. v even auditioned with a rap, too.
I got into BTS during HYYH era. The sound and vibe of the songs in this era resonates with me a lot. I don't think any other era gives me the same overwhelming feeling like this era. My favorite songs are Dead Leaves and House of Cards for a rraaon. It's really beautiful, mysterious, nostalgic. I think only people that either became ARMY during this time or were ARMY during this era will understand what we mean when we say HYYH was the best era. It were simpler times of being a fan and most fans were real fans that didn't jump on the BTS is popular bandwagon but just found them and listened to them naturally and loved them despite the low numbers of views or popularity. Not saying most fans now are hopping on bandwagons, but I know a lot are.

For me this was the era that defined BTS the most. Going into HYYH initially, I was super sceptical and disappointed as I liked their hip hop, bad boy sound so much and they decided to change it. But it turned out to be the best. I went from an Army who used to Stan other groups as well to a full time Army who only stanned BTS with HYYH. I recently got HYYH tattooed on my arm because that’s how much impact this era created in me.
