I love RUclips channels like this because it reminds me of a time in music and the spirit it embodied---danger, decadence, sleaze, recklessness, irreverence, raunch, etc---and also a reminder of what todays music is sorely lacking.

Ratt was way way better than Motley. The Invasion record and Infestation are my 2 faves. Closer To My Heart is my all time fave Ratt tune. Back then in 85 that sound was just the ultimate as no internet was around thankfully. We had the radio and friends trading cassettes. I hate music of today.
AWESOME interview with Riki!! Very honest and open about everything. I am an O.G. when it comes to the HEADBANGERS BALL! I have every episode that i recorded on VHS tape back in the day. That was how i got turned on to soooo many bands and having Riki host the show was like icing on the cake! Damn i still miss that show.
I would love to go see that one man show of his I grew up with that guy on television head bangers ball was a big part of my childhood. Nintendo BMX bike headbangers ball pretty much summed up fifth grade through sophomore year in high school for me.
Not really . They are completely different bands that both have amazing songs. You might like Ratt better but MC had far more hits than Ratt.. not talking just radio. I do like the two guitar attack better
