Just for others doing this, on my D750, for the viewfinder, @3:14, I had to remove the sticker that covers it, then remove a screw. It didn't just pry off like in this video film.
I have a Nikon D810 that has been to Nikon repair center 3 times for the same issue. They say they can't duplicate the problem even though it is the same every single time I check. I'm wondering if you have any idea.... When auto focusing I get a sharp image but the image in the optical viewfinder is not sharp. If I change to manual focus and achieve sharp focus in the ovf then my resulting image is out of focus. It is 100% not a diopter adjustment issue as I wouldn't be able to get a sharp image in the viewfinder when manually focusing. If I shoot somewhere between f/11 and higher then I can get an acceptable image. I'm not sure if it is front or back focusing but I think front. Is there a coupler somewhere internally that could be very slightly out of adjustment? Any ideas?

Do the screws in the battery hole have to come out please?
