Tiz literally killed two gods just so that he could return raising sheep in Norende.
and that's a pretty badass accomplishment comming from a 19 year old (21 in this game).
Actually, he killed two gods just so he could be with a girl that he likes, living a nice and peaceful life with her. Far as I concerned that makes perfect sense to me.

It's amazing how they took the time to really involve the player in this game's proceedings. Providence does actually make a good point about how we control video game beings for our own amusement and whatnot in a sort of semi-ironic way, but it's a great feeling when the characters in the game world believe in you to set things straight.

Yew breaking the 4th wall for us, everyone's encouragements, Tiz will still live, Edea continue to do her best, Tiz and Agnes together, Yew finally said what he wanted to Magnolia, AND THEN RINGABEL LITERALLY ANNOUNCING THE TITLE OF THE THIRD GAME

One of my favorite parts about this game is how all of the new asterisk holders are connected through the plague sub plot
A Little Piece of Information to blow your minds entirely: Vega Altair and Deneb are the three stars of the Summer Triangle. To be exact the stars connected to the Tanabata Festival. The Story connected to the Festival is that Hikoboshi (Altair from the Aquila (Eagle) Constellation) and Orihime (Vega from the Lyra Constellation) were so much in love they neglected their work and thus were separated by a great river (aka the milky way) and were only alowed to see each other one day in the year: On Tanabata. And the Bridge that connects them over the milky way is the star Deneb of the Cygnus (Swan) Constellation. In other words the whole Backstory of Altair could have already been found in his NAME.
On a side note the composer Ryo (supercell) also has another song which mentions the Summer Triangle.

Even if people don't like it, this final boss reminds me of the Lightning vs Bhunivelze boss fight in Lightning Returns: FFXIII...since that one is also main character/team vs god/godly big bad.

Mavitar Honestly it kinda makes me mad when games break the 4th wall. I just say to myself, "Oh how cute, the game thinks it's self-aware!" It takes me out of the action because it reminds me the game developers programmed it that way and I'm not changing anything, just sitting on my skinny pasty neckbeard ass wasting my time pressing buttons.

Normally, a fourth wall break just makes me chuckle a bit. But this one... inspired me so much to do my best, to fight with everything I had, to never give up and see this through to the very end! I freaking love this game, and honestly, with the announcement of the third game, I'm considering playing through those two games again.

"They're listing even right now.... *aren't you?*" That line and the one after gave me chills once it was realized that Providence wasn't talking to someone in the game.... but rather the player.
Anyone else notice how phase 2 Providence will switch back and forth from looking at the party and looking directly at the camera/you?
Also, if Magnolia defied our expectations, and failed to fulfill her responsibility of returning the the moon, doesn't that mean she bravely defaulted?

I just realized that the eye of providence switches from looking at your party to looking directly at you throughout the entire fight.

@@dragonfable66 I think it has to do with shifting from the timespace they existed in originally? Since the adventurer was usually red (except that one time) regardless of which dimension they were found in, then it likely has to do if the adventurer willingly shifted timespace on their own.
Either that or the exact method the adventurer used to shift timespace has a side effect on clothing.
that 4th wall breaking part after 21:55 had me smiling all the way. don't know if it feelt a bit forced or just perfectly but it was a pretty cool bit

Fucking Providence scared the shit out of me the first time I fought his second form, I expected something since the game didn't end there but I didn't expect it as I tried to leave the damn room.

If you talk to Agnes in the brief bit between the first battle and the second one, you get a very strange conversation!

Ah the 4th wall... 'Tis but a fleeting memory that just exists in my mind. I love how the creators were creative in using their titles to add into the game's story. Just goes to show just how much thought they put into it. :D (I also like how they made it seem like Denys attack broke the wall back into the battle just like you would see in your enemy encounters.)
ok, I must speak the truth. Ths game really surprised me, i didn't expcet that a game like this (and its sequel too) could take me and shaking me from the anger i was feeling in these days because some games that weren't like I imagined. The story and the gameplay itself was able to remember me why I start playing and why I will ever play videogame....because a videogame is a world, we dive ourself in it and change it with our choice, with our moral...in the end we make a revolution inside it. A gamepad revolution. So thanks Omega, thanks buddy ;)
Togno94 maybe this game, not so much Bravely Default. Also the stories in both are admittedly cliché, although I still like them.

But from the earlier game it seemed that the sword was just an entity of Yoko so I don't know why it's still around if she's gone...
The sword Yoko retrieved was an illusion she created based off of Yew's memories, but it was based off the real sword which still exists out there somewhere.

And once more this game shits on the 4th wall in the most fantastical way possible. Another clever word play with the title, and the adrenaline pumping music... And then a final kick to the feels. God damn, I was getting misty-eyed when he woke up before, but this actually made me shed a tear (also the shipper within me is screaming at the top of my lungs with joy).

Honestly, when I fought Providence back then, it was one of the biggest fourth wall breaks I've ever seen. I mean, never would I think that the game would become aware of us, the players!

That is correct. Deneb was in Final Fantasy The Four Heroes of Light, inplying that she is some sort of higher being who can travel across time and space. She is also stronger than Chaos (FFT4HOL) Oroboros and Providence both canonicly and gameplay wise, so she's pretty strong. Also the 7 deadly sins bosses are actually bosses from FFT4HOL so that's cool.

@DaddyManThiccBoi It’s heavily implied thanks to multiple tweets by the lead dev of the last two it’s coming on Switch. He’s mentioned that it’s a “new challenge” for him. That all said, Fukuwara, current President of Nintendo, has also confirmed that they’re planning to port their 3DS Library to Switch and have already started with third parties. Here’s hoping for enhanced Switch ports along with Bravely Third...

46:22 after rewatrching this after god knows how many times...im starting to think that bravely third will involve Ringabell and Magnolia. and itll be set after she departs to the moon again and then somehow after the events of bravely third unfold she goes back in time to hear out Yews feelings for her, this after whatever threat was going on in third was dealt with, she goes back in time to Yew, i just wonder if what she says "I guess love can reach across time and space...it looks like i made the right choice by daring to defy expectations" is related to something happening between her parting to the moon and showing up behind yew, just watch how they will connect all this with bravely third.after deneb just connected bravely default with bravely default: for the sequel/where the fairy flies (english version) and bravely second, i definitly could see this happening but then again where would ringabel be in all this? i could guess they'd make something happen sometime after Edea goes to "talk some sense" to the ones opposing the peace treaty

I dunno, I feel like torturing someone for thousands of years and weaponizing their memories to destroy the last chance of hope for that tortured soul MIGHT top some vague...plan about making school kids murder each other on live TV (I haven't really gone back to Danganronpa in a while and don't remember the specifics).

Joshua David honestly I’m not too big a fan of how every single playable character is in a relationship with one another. I kinda wish Tiz and Agnes had nothing together other than being really good friends. I’m fine with Edea and Ringabel since it technically can’t work out which I feel added for more interesting dialogue when they finally met, so for the most part I’d keep them the same. I actually do approve of Yew and Magnolia, idk why but Agnes and Tiz just feel forced to me for some reason, sure there’s connection between the two but ehh... also Yew X Magnolia is way too adorable to drop, they brought the game to an A to an A+ for me.
