Hahah. They were not dropping character. Satchel was not being Russ for the interviewer at all. Didn’t go into the fact he played in a band with Paul Gilbert and Jeff Martin, studied with Gilbert in fact. And deflected the Halford connection to Michael. So good.
Omg hahah I felt like Satchel broke character when he was asking Michael who wrote the songs from the band and I bet Michael was like "dude stfu" hahahahah
They always give Satchel the song writing credit in interviews. They put on the argument to deflect from that interviewer asking personal non-Steel Panther character questions.
This is one of the best no sense interviews I have seen of the mighty Steel Panther...they rock so hard it ain't funny! And the best RacerX song is technical difficulties, I dare Satchel to play it , wouldn't it be great to see Steel Panther nail that song???
Russ is a seriously talented and intelligent guitar player. You don't hang with Paul Gilbert if you're not. And once, just once, I'd love to have a serious conversation with Ralph. You know that, IRL, he is smart. Both are also family men (great family pics available on FB and if you Google).
Troy Dvorak can’t remember the name, but there’s a guitar podcast and Russ features on an episode. He gets quite serious/out of character. Really interesting stuff!

It sucks when an interviewer thinks he's being clever and brings up stuff that isn't relevant to Steel Panther. Normally the guys are great at deflecting those questions but this time it looks like he struck a nerve with Satchel and things got a little tense between Satchel and Michael.
Michael Starr has to be the most underrated singer on this planet...damn he is so good.
I love how they never break character. It's the best gimmick in rock today
Never break character u say? right... (Steel Panther really does have a great live show though, guys kicks ass)
I’ve seen them break character loads though 😂
When
I have a doubt . Maybe its not a character?
That duet was lowkey beautiful
1:23 I like how in the subtitles they combined two phrases: "He shreds, dude" and "Mr. Big" into "Mr. Shred"

"Never made it as a wise man"
"No that's Nickelback" Lmfao

Ella Galvz: Ya, that was a bit uncomfortable. LOL

@@Andrea_Solusek good catch
I feel like satchel was genuinely pissed at one point. Probably due to the Mom joke?
Satchel so wrote the songs...
He's also the only one who's professionally trained in theory and composition. He went to the MI in La
And he was paul Gilbert's housemate/renter/studio sharing. That's automatic music knowledge.
These guys are so funny - and good musicians
Guys are just fucking around and can harmonize vocals pretty good on the fly.

Satchel got triggered by PhD and Michael making jokes about the words EVEN when Michael took it down. Satchel needs to chill.
I'm pretty sure Satchel is not triggered and just trolls Michael as usual.
Luv these two 😆
This is by far their weirdest interview
They seem to be really having an argument...
@@daphne4983 The arguing and going off on random nonsense is to deflect from when they are asked personal and off-character questions.
These two were mad at each other that day hahahaha.
That surprise rendition of To Be With You was fuckin bitchin
far more entertaining than i imagined
This interviewer is not playing into the kayfabe here haha.
That was very uncomfortable for Michael
Yeah, for sure. That question was for Ralph, not Michael. WFT, why?
This was an incredibly subjective interview.
So is it like a new Ben Stiller movie? I mean he's hilarious!
Lol Satchel got mad because Satchel wrote all the songs and also the lyrics lol.
Maybe you should be home when things like this happen. I love you!
More lpussy on the road.
I want to be a roadie for the Steel Beatles
The awesome boys of STEEL PANTHER 🤘🤘🤘🤘
I wrote all the beatles songs
🤣🤣🤣
There sober comedians that run out of story's . There bad ass!
I can’t find Steel Beatle.
2 B with U LMFAO 😂😂
2:35
Didn’t John Lennon found ‘Wings’?
WOW Satchel was being a massive peckerhead in this interview
Geiles Interview
I luv them 😂 Michael looks and sounds crazy but I see him not that crazy 😜
No . They are high.
No, this is their gimmick.
7:40
I wrote all the Beatles songs lol
Is satchel mad at michael?
yeah, he seemed ticked off @ 08:05 when Michael said the lyrics for steel panther werent sophisticated
Russ dude calm down I’m sure they all know you write the songs but to call out Ralph like that is unnecessary bring it up after the interview
soft falsetto with a wide grind. lolololololol
About Johnny Depp, they're wrong. He's a great guitarist, he's always been rock 'n' roll.
Why do they all keep rubbing theire noses?
WMDLY😜
The shitty Beatles. \m/
They love to play.

Yes, that's why the interviewer sucks, this guy doesn't understand anything
