    Somebody probably allready told you.. but that thing in the middle is DIFFERENTIAL
    inside is the pumpkin holding the spider gears.
    The drive shaft is Pinion gear turning the Ring gear which is bolted to the pumpkin.

    You can get better cold start by using glow plugs more. You need to turn key lightly forward from ignition position before it starts to crank. Keep it in that position at least 15s. This gives more service time for starter motor:)

    • @MiniMachines1
      @MiniMachines1  5 лет назад +1

      I have read the manual now so found out of it, your right when I turn the key so the lights shut off the preheater activates. Have the same on the massey ferguson but didn't know the valmet had it also 😊 thx for the tips 👍

    • @Mariini
      @Mariini 5 лет назад

      If my memory serves me correctly, there is also an secondary system besides the plug heater (electric) which should be used when possible and with glow plugs.
      I don't know correct technical grammar, but there should be a little rubber nipple in the fuel pump like 02/03 series, Valmet engines after all. If the conditions are severe and no electric heater isn't available, push the "hand throttle" or what its called in english down so the engine RPM would be 50% or more. Push that nipple inside, atleat older Valmets had a little hole in the left side engine cover at that spot near the fuel pump. Use those glowplugs about 30s and start, when the engine ignites and starts to rise in revs, release the hand throttle so the cold engine does not rush too high.

    • @MiniMachines1
      @MiniMachines1  5 лет назад

      @@Mariini haven't heard about that one, will take a look in the manual to see if I find something.
      I now have the block heater and with that one plugged in I need to carefully climb into the tractor so it dosent start 😂

    • @Mariini
      @Mariini 5 лет назад

      @@MiniMachines1 I looked your video and did not see the same kind of hole in left side pinel like in older yellow series. It could also be engine related matter, even though that 3 syl is Valmet origin also, we had 905 with six in the line.

    What do you do with all of the old oil? My brother in law in Missouri uses it for heating his shop he has a waste oil heater or oil fired heater. This tractor looks a lot more useful that the one you sold relaxes me watching you work on equipment thanks for the videos

    • @MiniMachines1

      I deliver it to an waste sorting facility, I have looked at oil burners, but I got an heat cannon that uses diesel ore paraffin so I dont have the need for one, and I dont get that much waste oil from the machines

    for the lane way have think that machine a bit big innless your a snow cleaning contractor think attachment for the bob cat or a walk behind snow blower be fine for your laneway and take up less space to store and maintain it

    • @MiniMachines1
      @MiniMachines1  5 лет назад

      I do have an walk behind snow blower but it dosent have a chance when winter sets in, could had a snowblower for the Bobcat that would have been nice and a closed cab, without a snowblower and only bucket it gets to much show in the end of the year, I used a tractor only with a bucket one winter but than I had a pile of snow bigger than the house in the garden. And one of the plans with the new tractor is to get some work in the winter clearing snow 😊

    Snow already living far north? Pure hydraulic oil on the tractor can cause you some problems. With seals and o rings. I'm going to try spikes in front of my tractor in the winter behind I drive with chains. Have subscribed and should follow your videos. Greetings from east norway. :-)

    • @MiniMachines1
      @MiniMachines1  5 лет назад +1

      Oh yes about 60cm here now, erlier than normal, so it's a little bit boring standing outside in snow working on the snow removal equipment. I hope the spikes works good, I will also go with spikes in front and chains in the back. Tusen takk 😊

    This is the first time ive seen a pull snowblower. How good would they be in deep, lake effect snow I wonder?

    • @MiniMachines1
      @MiniMachines1  5 лет назад +1

      It works good, it's an easy design and don't need many moving parts, as long as your tractor can drive true it's no problem for the snowblower. There are sometimes i need to back up into the snowdrift when it's to big, but normally I can drive true the snow and pull it into the snowblower.
      Take a look in this video I'm in a lot of snow.

    Flott traktor👍, men gløda du lenge nok før start? Har glødespiral i innsugsmanifold på 365S’n og det tar ca 25 sek før det høres et dempet «puff» og da knaller den til å går med en gang, lettstartet som f👍

    • @MiniMachines1
      @MiniMachines1  5 лет назад

      Er nok mye mulig at det ikke var lenge nok, er ikke helt sikker på hvordan den aktiveres heller, som du ser så går alle lampene av når jeg vrir nøkkelen litt videre

    • @svenerikhansen
      @svenerikhansen 5 лет назад

      Mini Machines mulig det skal være sånn på 505, at lamper slukkes når du vrir på gløding, enkleste er å koble på multimetret på glødespiralen eller glødepluggene å se om det dukker opp strøm når du vrir nøkkelen til gløding👍

    • @Mariini
      @Mariini 5 лет назад

      Glow plugs, electric pre-heater and something I don't know by the correct word in English, basically it forces the fuel pump to push more fuel into the cylinders than normal in the cold start.
