    These do have a recall on them. After a year my CPU temps at idle started going crazy 70-75 degrees at idle. I reached out for an RMA since it has a 5 year warranty. They informed me they have a recall and will send me a new unit for free, and I dont have to send current unit back. I would reach out if you have issues they have great customer support! All you need is proof of purchase!

    Not everybody wants giant RGB inside the case.
    A tiny little glow however, behind the Black Dark TGlass Fractal case that indicates CPU Temperature would look sweet.

    this is one of the prettiest aio blocks i've ever seen and the pump placement looks to be great for bottom mounting in cases where that might otherwise have been the domain of custom loops only

    • @chibiribiri
      @chibiribiri Год назад

      Well. No. There is always air in ur water cooling system. In a custom loop, the air is trapped in the reservoir tank which is placed correctly. With an aio, the radiator is the reservoir in your system. If u put the radiator in the bottom of ur case, than the cooling block is the highest point of mounting in the system. aka their will air trapped in the cooling block. But u dont want air there, where the heat goes to the system...
      Bottom mounting radiator is a no go for EVERY aio.

    "If you're going to have RGB, surely you will kind of want it in your face"
    Couldn't disagree more. The key to good looking RGB lighting is restraint, in my opinion. I enjoy having nice looking PC lighting but I don't want it to be so strong that it lights up a dark room. I usually buy the RGB versions of most products, all except for fans. If I were to buy this cooler, I'd put some black Noctuas on the radiator and be done. Diffused light, used in tasteful amounts is what makes for the best looking builds.

    I'd be curious to see how the Lumen series compares to the Celsius+, there really aren't many videos based on this new line so cheers for doing this review!

    • @alekm8294
      @alekm8294 3 года назад

      My Fractal Celsius+ S24 I've had for only a year started to have pump whine. Had it front mounted with tubes down on the radiator, thought this was the better set up? Anyways I flipped it and the sound stopped for a few days and well now it constantly clicks sounding like an issue with air trapped at the top of the radiator. I loved it while it was silent, but now I'm either going to grab the the Lumen or a different brand all together. Note, I have been running my system around the clock since march so that might have had something to do with the issues coming on so quickly in it's life.

    • @AverageArtz
      @AverageArtz 2 года назад

      @@alekm8294 Sadly, having it front mounted with the tubes down is one of the worst thing you can do to an AIO. Any air that might exist within the closed system is going to get trapped in the pump block. The best way to mount an AIO is always to make sure to have the tube connection to the rad mounted HIGHER than the pump block, which will ensure that any air with travel to the top of the rad rather than to get trapped in the pump block.

  • @rudy_dstroys1821
    @rudy_dstroys1821 8 месяцев назад

    Word of warning, even though thebpump is inside the radiator, continue to mount it as recommended. Do not install it vertically, mine failed after almost two years. The Tubing will still have a hard time moving water and the pump as well.
    Somehow my pump still reads as its working but my idle temps are super hogh

    • @Seechase_
      @Seechase_ 8 месяцев назад +1

      There is a recall on these BTW. Mine started giving me super hot temps 70-75 degrees at idle and they are sending me a new one with no need to send previous one back. Long as you have proof of purchase. Something to look into, I submitted the form on their website. Even if you've got another cooler could still recoup some costs with the replacement or put into a secondary build or something. just a thought. I bought a Strix ROG cooler, might just keep the fractal for a secondary build down the line personally.
