- This is the easiest DPS you’ll ever do. Microcosm is a heavy trace rifle so it deals a lot more damage than normal trace rifles. It also gets increased damage after you pop your super and it works with Cenotaph Mask. This helmet will reload Microcosm over time, even while you’re shooting it, allowing you to shoot around 250 shots before reloading. That means, to get all its reserves off, you only have to reload it once instead of 3 times. That saves you a lot of time in DPS phases. Against the grasp of avarice ogre, I did over a third of his health bar solo, using only well of radiance and this. And all I had to do was point and click.

How?
Because of microcosm theres now a trace rifle in the power slot

Fun fact, I do this unironically on my prism melee hunter 😂😂😂 it’s so good.
Kinetic: Appetence, season of wish, overflow&wellspring
Energy: Hollow denial, haunted, lead4mgold&swashbuckler
Heavy: microcosm

You can do it with just 1 other person, you just have to work slightly harder to bounce the debuff
2 manning it w my friend wasnt remotely difficult except for the witness fight. Just find another on LFG and grind it out or coax a friend into it
This dungeon is easy solo
I did all of it lfg and it wasnt that bad
I completed it last week just communicate well and it’s easy
Hopefully Cenotaph gets an ornament that makes it actually look good

You should use a healing rift and Song Of Flame with the fragment that allows you to stack more scorch on a target. Song Of Flame allows kinetic weapons to scorch targets, and Microcosom is a kinetic damage type. Just melee for radiant and throw on surges.
doesn't song of flame grant radiant to the caster anyway
how fast does the scorch stack? how many ignitions per song of flame cast, and is it better than just using song of flame grenade/melee for ignitions? seems like you would just rather use super abilities for damage, then dump for whatever leftover time especially with star eater. still prefer star eater + nova as it's brainless and fast/easy damage then you can move on to dumping heavy

Song of flame doesn’t grant the bonus damage for microcosm as far as I’m aware since you’re still in the super, where as well counts as being used once it’s placed, so for microcosm I think well is better
Mircocosm does more dps than most rotations because most people are pretty bad and can't do a swap rotation. Even if they can, most people still screw up the swaps. You're not all himothies, easy dps is better and more consistent than complex dps rotations.
Personally I like to run microcosm, auto loading mountain top, any other auto loading gl, tether, and kinetic surges. For me I find it works pretty well if you just hunter dodge to reload micro
Practice makes perfect- no better practice than trying it in the real thing especially when you know others in the team can pick up the small amount of slack you are putting in.
I like to do damage rotations just because it’s more fun than holding down left click on a boss, and even if I’m messing it up it’s still good to practice (don’t do this if you’re in a raid and you’re not good enough at execution yet)

Microcosm is really good for double destroying glyphs on Witness so if you're doing mechanics its a great weapon. You can also be support with well, as well is nice during dps to keep your team alive.
I had paracausal imbuement active while I was standing by my teammate that used Song of Flame

Song of Flame makes kinetic/solar weapons apply scorch and you get radiant while using it. I’m curious if that will up damage output since it could trigger ignitions.

Even though Titans have to reload it 3 times. The new Hazardous Propulsion helps offset the damage loss while reloading. I just pray Bungi doesn't nerf it.

I know you don’t get the damage boost for the first half, I like to use nova bomb after I shoot off one mag because it automatically reloads the next one

Sadly trace rifles got a nerf regarding the ammo. Before, thanks to unique ammo economy and a glitch in calculation when using 2 special ammo weapons, you were able to use them like an primary ammo gun. No triple trace rifle build for me.
Could it add more damage if we combine it with a trace rifle with overflow and kill tally?

No because microcosm only does bonus damage when your super is "expired." So it only works after song of flame is over. (I think that's right, correct me if I'm wrong)

Microcosm does increased dmg for 20(?) seconds after you use your super. Don’t forget to use it asap and keep it spamming.

@@sylasperdue538 doing 75% of this boss's health is possible with triple swaps and prismatic, but that is a lot of setup and logistically difficult for most people. With someone else on tractor, I've seen someone solo one phase this boss.
@GusJenkinsElite Void prismatic lock , apotheosis and stareater bond . A void sniper or fusion of your choice and edge transit . Its really not hard to do . Im a casual and do it pretty well . My comment was just a joke but you can actually do it and even 1 phase by yourself . Especially with the current artifact we have

It does really good damage against bosses, now good luck gathering ammo (unless all 6 run heavy finder + scout)

He was in a well of radiance, which gives the radiant buff, and that's intrinsically anti-barrier.

Not necessarily. Against things like the witness and subjugators, I can get pretty close to top dmg. Also, in this video he doesnt have SoF. Bc microcosm is kinetic, SoF allows it to scorch on hit, further increasing your dps

with the right setup, i outdamaged our Still Hunt/Goldie Nighthawk with Micro. 6.7m vs 6.4m on Witness
