I can't even explain it exactly, but I really love this performance. Most of his duets with Chinese singers are just wonderful. The third version is, by far, my favorite.

This was the first version of this song I had heard. After I heard there were different versions Dimash sang of this song, I went back and listened to all of this them and the version with Wu Tang is by far my favorite version. Just a magnificent blending of voices by two vocal masters.

I forget to mention that you want to react to Dimash interviews to understand him better, there are many although he doesn’t like to give one. The longest one was in 2019 before his Arnau concert in Astana ( now Nur Saltan) , other was in Russia and China. But the interview will not show how humble and empathy that he gave to others. I don’t know whether you have seen him wheeling a wheelchair of elderly NZ lady who suffered from cancer but after hearing Dimash she felt alive and decided to go to his concert in Astana. Dimash heard about it and drove to pick her up and took her to have meal at his house a day before the concert . She is alright now and said that Dimash’s voice has cured her. She even went to see his concert in NY. Then there was another case of the young Russian girl, must be about 10 years old from a look at her , who felt in love with Dimash voice and wanted to see him in person. While Dimash was in Russia he went to see her in Kazan. She was sick and can’t walk . Imagine how thrilled she was to see her idol and asked for a hug. Dimash presented her with a toy . It was very touching. She intended to attend his concert early this year in Kazan, but she died before Dimash got to the place . So for that concert Dimash delicate “ SOS --“ to her with the touching speech before the performance. Just to let you know some small things about him. Take care my dear. By the way you look prettier day by day. Love 💕

Version #3 with Wu Tong will probably always be my favorite duet of Dimash with any partner. Wu Tong is a multiple-Grammy winner in the World Music category. He invented the world's first electric "sheng", (traditional Chinese instrument), and the band, Silk Road, was his at the time. Dimash and Wu Tong share a formal academic background in music, and both began at age 5. They clearly share a mutual love of ethnic fusion. I love the way their voices harmonize and their riffs are so compatible! Dimash looks so at ease, as though it's rare for him to not feel a heavier burden of responsibility in a duet's success. It's like he knew he could do whatever he felt, and the guy on stage with him had his back at all times. World class!

I so enjoyed your reaction to this song. It is one of my favorites. I prefer the second version. The colors are so beautiful and vivid, especially when that large flower opened up in the beginning. Hi, this is a very special song for Chinese. It was used to be even the anthem for some time. It is considered to be a national treasury and it is not allowed to sing it to anyone. Dimash May be the only foreign singer who is appointed to sing it at the major Chinese holiday - the Spring Festival, and in his own version, for 3 years already. You have seen performances of different years but in retrospective order. I personally adore the version of 2018 you have watched the third.

What a show ! What a technology holograms in plain air ! How many countries have this technology ? Put them into a show with Dimash and you get this ! This show is not in a studio with blue screen !

It's not holograms lol, it's post CGI. There is a person with some sort of mocap suit on in the rehearsal video for the vocaloid placement I believe

@@phantaphil That's several LCD screens under the stage. 3d holograms are not a technology that exists yet, the closest you could get is a projection onto a mostly unseeable screen.

Dear Sabina, now you know why I mentioned all 3 versions because they are so different even though it is the same song. So you understand Luo Tianyi in the first one is called a Vocaloid that was created for video games and her dancing was accomplished by having several girls on the stage moving around and then they edited their movements to have Luo dancing. Very good end result. Thank you for doing all three because I was going to ask you for the 3rd ASAP. 🎶👱♀️👗👠👠💓

One really has the feeling that the character is there with Dimash. The second video is also wrapped in magic. This TV channel really produces beautiful things. Dimash was very happy and the performance was impeccable. The third one I love too. A powerful duet with a famous musician and singer. Both are incredible singers. I loved your initiative to put the three videos. It was a delight to watch with you.
A little bit about music: Jasmine Flower is a traditional folk song very popular in China and was created during the Qianlong reign (1735 - 1796), in the Qing Dynasty. Mò li huā is so well known and appreciated that it is almost a Chinese cultural symbol. In the West, its melody became popular when it was included by Giacomo Puccini, an Italian composer, in his Opera Turandot.
In 2013 Celine Dion sang in Duet with a famous Chinese singer Song Zuying at the end of the Spring Festival Gala China. It was beautiful too

I believe the best interview Dimash has given is the one from "modeladel" on Kazakh TV. It is 40.35 minutes in length and is about one year ago. You can really hear his honesty and feel his soul. I don't especially care for the interviewer. She is pushy and asks some questions that he dodges gracefully. This woman also did a separate interview with Dimash's parents and she had the nerve to ask if they are rich or live on the money Dimash earns from his music. Again, in that interview you can clearly see that Dimash was taught well. His parents treat the rudeness with civility. These are questions that more sophisticated or nicer interviewers would not think of asking. There is curiosity and then there is nosiness. This woman crosses the lines of politeness for the sake of trying to get high ratings. You should watch both shows. (Patricia)

Dimash is very much at home in China, he is more free there, the audiences love to show their emotions and he loves that. Also he loves his Chinese Dears, they are so devoted to him and he them. Isn’t technology incredible? The first version was reminiscent of every child’s fantasy of being immersed with a cartoon character. I actually preferred the second rendition, partially (okay, mostly) due to the focus on Dimash’s vocals, but also due to a more visually stunning stage presentation. The second version had a Disney-esque feeling to it. The third version was also visually stunning and, yet again, had a different feel to it. The blend of traditional and modern vocals was surprisingly refreshing and a fun listen. Wow! (I agree - I didn’t name it, but I was thinking Aladdin as well!). I believe my favourite may have - surprisingly - been the third version. Of course, I always say that my favourite Dimash song is whatever I’ve heard last. It was a pleasure to watch all THREE versions! Thank you!

Hello dear Sabina. Do you know the song 'Our love', performed by Dimash during the show 'The masked singer'? It's a really great performance and even kind of funny, cause there could have been nobody else under the costume other than Dimash :) A reaction could be difficult (heard of copyright issues and such...), but you should definitive enjoy it someday for yourself. Praise the Lord for His rain that falls on all of us from time to time, although I'd prefer it not come along with some hurricane as it is hurricane season where I live and though they don't occur often, those things can be awful :-) I do thank Him for my air conditioning since as long as I can pay for it and so far, I can ... I can keep my house as cool as I desire and do. But when I open the door to the outside, it's like opening an oven door that projects a blast of heat in your face...or if you have to get in your car when it's been sitting out and you burn your hiney when you slide in and can't touch any of the metal until the A/C cools the inside of your auto...LOL Oh wel, it's all survivable and the cooler weather of fall will be here soon and our winters are mild and winter is my favorite time of year.
