This is one of the coolest fight scenes I’ve ever seen. Shinji and Jun are the inspiration for two of the characters in a (hopefully) novel I’m writing.
I almost thought that Shinji was going to win until the end. Also, this was a great inspiration for a story I am creating, too. I guess some people have similar interests.

The knife that represents his teleportation target was different than the kunai he threw as a distraction. Without the twirling cameo of the embellished dagger, they'd have all just looked like blades. Brilliant, start to finish.
