Parisienne Walkways (Cover) - Gary Moore - RUMPUS - Family Band / Kids Band / Rock Band

RUMPUS is a kids family rock band playing live classic rock music and original songs! Parisienne Walkways is an amazing shredfest of soulful blues lead guitar by Gary Moore from his 1978 album 'Back on the Streets'. We loved playing Still Got the Blues and this was another song that we just had to do! We'd like to dedicate this to our friend Justin Wright, who would have loved it. And we'd also like to thank people that have helped us develop our recordings and sound along the way including Robert Nute and Mike Richardson. And thanks too to all of you guys who are supporting us by watching, commenting and sharing. It's great to have you all along for the ride with us as we grow with our music!
We are brothers and sisters from Auckland in New Zealand. We like to learn and perform new songs together and play modern music and classic rock songs. We also write our own original songs too. We like to play live if we can - but also enjoying sharing our music online.
We practice up in our rumpus room so we called our band ‘RUMPUS’ which we think is quite fitting!
We like to learn the new songs and polish them up as much as we can before we decide they’re ready to video and share. It’s gives us something to aim for and it’s also good to have for the future.
Ashley on drums and Hannah on the bass are twins and 12 years old. Matthew on guitar is 13 and Daniel on guitar and lead vocals is 15. Thanks for watching!

Well done! I don't think I've ever heard this song before, I like seeing the band enjoy themselves. When do we get to listen to those "pro" recordings? Are the ages listed still valid? Hello, mm yeah maybe not a super famous one but it’s on rock radio stations here.. not like still got the blues though.. but a good tune.. comments are all generally ok 👍 no probs.. kids are 12,12,13,15… we are currently thinking of releasing the songs online to Spotify etc.. once we work out how 😆 yes there’s cymbal control in the electric kit.. thanks

Wow!! I used to listen to Gary Moore when I was a teenager, in the 80's. This is brilliant! I've ended up watching loads of your videos, you're all such talented musicians and do great versions of these songs. Keep it up, you lot are destined for great things. As a bass player I really respect the bassist, great feel for the strings, I think it was Billy Jean, where she is outstanding. But in this video obviously lead guitar is seriously outstanding. You've got a new fan.
