Jen reacts to the SkyDxddy track "Triggered". This track talks about SkyDxddy's personal experience of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and how the symptoms of this illness impacted her life.
SkyDxddy describes herself as a rap artist that makes music to help people live with mental illnesses. She originally started singing country, but after experiencing a brutal sexual assault, she distanced herself from her country roots after feeling it was too misogynistic. When she dropped out from college due to PTSD and other mental health difficulties, SkyDxddy decided that writing and performing rap music about mental health could become a tool to help others recover from and manage mental health illness.

To be honest with you I know how that is like to deal with that because when I was 14 years old I want to Stuff that I don't like talking about with my ex-boyfriend let's just say it was a horrible experience for me I'm not going to get into any details but I can relate to all her songs stay safe have a blessed day
I’ve been told to get over my ptsd by my own family on several occasions, one of my family members truly believes that unless you’re physically unable to move then you’re choosing to be sick. I don’t talk to them about it anymore, the one group of people I SHOULD be able to but they just, don’t understand.
I still want revenge. My inner child needs a hug and cuddle my inner teen wants blood and me now just wants peace. It's so confusing

I have no idea why im crying from this video. All i can say is this makes me feel a bit of relief that there are others out there i can relate to. Forgiving a person isn't for the disgusting person who hurt you, it's for yourself, and taking your life back. I stand with all of you who have been through this pain. ❤
