@@Lifeonbooks well, I'm almost halfway through the novel but the different aspects of racial tension intertwine within the story and I'm all eyes on Juniper Song. I haven't finished the novel yet but this is like a roller coaster ride!

Read Babel. I considered this book not my cup of tea. Topics in this book are huge and very important but R.F. Kuang just smash those topics in your face. Ones twice etc. You can imagine the reaction 😒The reasoning behind Robin's actions are strange and questionable for me. Mostly I was reading this book with a face-palm.
Every time I thought the story turned up to be better, the author turned it to be worse just in 2 sentences.
This book tries to be serious literature but it's not there. It's good to put serious questions into young adults and teenagers though.
Now I'm reading Yellowface hope this will be better.
