Set Camera the exact height and use the Scale tool till the top of the figure's head is exactly in line with the horizon. works with other things too.
Nicely sketched Aaron, gonna give that a go later.
Not sure when I’d use it, but I’ll give it a go. I’ve used a 3D Warehouse file of my car when doing entry control points.
Cool. And the freehand tool IS much improved. I've been avoiding it
That seemed a whole lot easier than it probably is ! Nice tip.
Hi Aaron, is there also a quick and easy way to create a 3D scale figure in stead of just a figure facing the camera all the time?
That vivid was awesome , Aaron . Great idea .
HI, great video but my figure changes axis when i make it a component
Please one vedio on how we can isolate one thing in SketchUp when we modeling just like in 3ds max
May not need a whole video. Go to 'Window/Model Info/Components' and check 'Hide Rest of Model'
Yep: take your photo with the camera as far away and as low as possible for best results
awesome!
Wow. 2023 and we still are using anachronistic tools for stuff like this. Why not just have the computer create it for us? Surely it could do it faster and more accurately.
