DO is also shooting for a drama. Xuimin is doing musical(waiting for his solo debut). Kai recently released his album. Lay is in China doing his own music and other works. Waiting for 2025 or 2026 for EXO as a whole group comeback.

Yeah definitely NCT is more experimental in sm, and before was/is Shinee. EXO has more chill or epic songs, much more easy to listen in general. They too have some songs with twists and breaks that surprises, but in my opinion (as a multifan ig) the cool things are all the nuances added either in the little sounds mixed on the tracks, and of COURSE their voices.
i think u have never heard wolf / tempo / overdose / kokopop experimental is not about "loud edm music" it is about mixing genres and hearing sounds out of it have never been got it ?

You might be reading too much in DO’s gaze. He has really bad eyesight with astigmatism and can’t wear contacts. So he’s always looking at the world blurred and faint. In order to focus, he lowers his head and looks up at the subject, which scares the hmmpf out of people. Kai really didn’t like DO when they first met and didn’t want to even eat with him. Two days later, they’re best friends. I don’t think DO has had anything sad or difficult in his past. He has a loving supportive family. He’s the favorite of all the other member’s moms. The staff loves him. The only negative I’ve heard is DO admitting to a broken relationship because he was too possessive. Glad you reacted to this.
You should definitely check out Other songs in the obsession album! They performed them in their concerts(with some of their members missing-because they were enlisted) but they still slayedddd

While nct are more experimental, exo are more like r&b. Their discography is gold, their bsides good as much as the title track. But love shot is kinda their more "commercial" song. It's catchy and sexy and the vocals and choreo slay and it's absolutely iconic but it's not the best from them. Exo tried lots of things too. Kokobop is unconventional, obsession too. Tempo is a cultural reset. Love shot is like for beginners ahahhaahha in the fandom people always joke that tempo deserved better than love shot. I suggest you to give a listen to their other songs too. As for title tracks i suggest you monster, obsession, tempo, call me baby, growl, overdose
