awesome tut mate, helped a lot, Im rendering in maya, and have the neck joined back to the body before export from unreal which swaps the neck animation to the body, i dont suppose you know a way to transfer body animation from unreal?

I seem to be having an issue where the eye directions/darts seem to be all over the place when the animation is retargeted onto the Control Board in Maya. Seems like it the retargeting is not a 100%? Was wondering if anybody else was facing similar issues

I am trying to export it from Bridge to Maya 2023 and it confirm exported (pop up confirmation in Bridge )but nothing happens(nothing shows up on the viewport) in Maya. Can you help me on that? Thank you in Advance.

Hello JSFilmz, I'm having an issue where MetaHumans is coming into Maya with the Z Up vs Y Up, do you know how to set it so that Y is up when exporting from Metahuman ( Stand Alone ) version?
hope it's not too late lol but in the maya settings theres an option to have the Z up and all that specifically for use with unreal engine, it's in the general preferences box!
Aiming to get my full metahuman animation into marvelous designer.... So is it possible to start metahuman in A pose then mocap animation for say 200 frames then export all that as an fbx? or do you have to export it to maya first then export that as an fbx?
@@Jsfilmz ill give it a go and let you know... you should get MD to give you a license and do some unreal marvelous tuts. many are looking for a good solution to metahuman cloth

@@Jsfilmz ik, it works for me, but won’t it create issues as it’s not coming from metahuman animator directly?? I imported an animation, and i tried everything you said but the issue won’t resolve, but as soon as i added metahuman animator animation, it worked..😕

what if after maya i want that to be imported inside blender for rendering and animation further. will it work as a fbx file?
It should work. or you can just export it as alembic from Maya and render that in blender

Currently only Maya 2022 is supported. I had the same problem yesterday
@@JosefChadima Update: I was able to export to Maya 2023 directly. I had to re-install everything and double check the plugins was proper installed.

Will the python script work in older versions of Maya, 2018 for example?
but then if we import this animation from maya to unreal, the metahumans will again have that floating head issue..., then how to fix that?
