APPARENTLY The Tangi Virus has a sequel called The Oracle Project! So if you guys want to see me go over that one too, be sure to get this video to 6000 likes! I know you guys can do it.
Also *side note* I apologize for how quickly the members names fly by at the end of the video. I was testing out something new and it didn't really go as planned haha ❤️

A note about the man talking about the river and the landfill: He's supposed to be a local politician and speaking as a 90's kid, this was a perfect recreation of local politicians putting out statements on public access tv. They all sounded suspicious AF because they didn't know how to talk to a camera.

15:43 "What kind of animal is loud enough to overcome the sounds of a flood?"
The people infected who don't die succumb to the illness and turn into "amphibious creatures". The roar at the end sounds a lot like the roar at 37:53. That could also explain the missing people. They turn into the monsters. And also the people who call for help and when rescue workers arrive, no one's there. That's my theory rn

It's also said people started mutating into amphibious creatures, that's probably what those weird crocodile looking things were, the missing people could have finished turning into them and then went into the water and swam away, becoming the river monsters, and the others could be like Gary and be killed by being dragged down into the water and either eaten or something else.

The strangest thing about this story is that the city water in some Louisiana parishes actually have too much chlorine added to treat the water, which only gives more realism to the story, and with hurricanes that occur and people that go missing during them, and disease that can spread by tainted flood waters, something similar is actually possible.

When his partner went to go find supplies on a boat, when she came back, there was blood and the man was gone. So yeah, it’s pretty realistic with y’know..people going missing in this, and people missing in real hurricanes and flood events.

No Julia was not an idiot or gullible for falling for it, she was manipulated into it. Let me explain: What she went through was a period of neglect followed by love bombing, or at least in the simplest terms. She was gaslit and called crazy for MONTHS on end about the virus and in the end was even fired. Then when she was at her lowest point they reasured her that she was in fact NOT crazy and that this could be even more dangerous than she possibly thought. She also saw some disturbing stuff in that which made her seek comfort from the people who are now giving her validation. When the opportunity to continue to be around the only people in months that weren't dismissing her she subconsciously has to take it. She accepted the wine because of this, she didn't want to lose the sole thing that had given her validation. Plus she also probably wanted to get drunk to forget about the disturbing images in the lab. It was manipulation, and I feel so sad for her... Even blaming herself for something that wasn't really her fault.

I think the creator was just a tad confused on what a virus is..Boiling is also used for killing bacteria, I'm not sure about viruses?

    • @Hirundo-demersalis
      @Hirundo-demersalis 10 месяцев назад +1

I remember someone else had a thought about that; the "worms" aren't a separate spontaneously generated organism, but are possibly created from the victim's own infected tissues to help the Tangi Virus spread to new hosts.
In order to reproduce, viruses such as HIV or HPV insert their DNA or RNA into ours, so it gets read and copied undetected during our normal cellular processes. These infected cells are anything but normal, however; they behave improperly or grow uncontrollably, causing cancerous growths and disabling immune function, as well making the host infectious to others.
Creating worm-like cells is a bit strange, granted, but given that the Tangi Virus is extraterrestrial in origin, it doesn't necessarily have to follow viral reproductive processes we've seen before.

Also, I had a thought that maybe the creature we hear at the end might have been our answer to where all those missing people went... Not necessarily because they were consumed by it, but because it was using the parasitic infection to create a neural network within its prey, which would then puppeteer the infected toward it. From there, it would assimilate the flesh of the infected into its own biomass. Initially, this thing could've been living in the river, hidden. Biding its time and feasting on the free resources. But it would eventually need to further its growth, yes? So perhaps it became so large and ravenous that it caused the river to overflow so that could extend its reach and have access to its food supply. Eventually, there would be no one left to oppose it.

As in the landfill poisoning the water is VHS footage that seems, while out of context, to look real.
Oh and viruses are not alive, bacteria and PARASITES, eg the real Guinea Worm Disease (yeah, the worm footage was also real, but obviously out of real context). Which infects you if you drink the water or stand barefoot in infected water. Borrows into your muscles, can become close to a meter, yes M!, long inside your muscles or intestine. A horrible infection of a parasite. Boiling the water (at sea level) for a while will kill the eggs.

Sheesh. that teaser was well done. How chaotic and scary!
I would like to propose a theory on why it was scary. Besides the spooky white noise and the screaming, I think there's something in that teaser that exploits a fear that might be deep within us all. The fear of viruses and bacteria.
With the Covid pandemic in recent memory, we can likely agree that people are scared of getting sick, and scared of a invisible foe that will make them sick.
And viruses/bacteria have wiped out countless humans over millions of years, so we might have evolved to be afraid of viruses. In fact, it's likely that our pre-human ancestors from hundreds of millions of years ago already had this fear within them, and we just inherited the fear from *them.*
And I think this teaser reawakens that fear with us (and maybe the whole video, which I have yet to watch, sorry).
(If there are any scientists here, maybe they can fact check my theory of evolved fear, and see if it is valid.)

    • @gachatana9656

Fun fact: cats do something similar to this. Their waste has a sort of ‘virus’ in it that, when someone comes into contact with it, they are less afraid of cats.
