super late to the punch, but TV-N is known to be rather egotistical with their subs despite the fact that groups like OZC/OT and Genmcorp now regularly produce more palatable translations, and some people have accused their typesetting of being a point of pride rather than genuinely adding to the sub experience. I'd reckon that this is part of their "fuck you, WE'RE the best subs in the world" problem - which demonstrates a profound lack of self-awareness since they've produced such gems as "banana new shoe" and overall are severely lagging behind in the effort department despite being legible enough to be acceptable.
