Maybe it's just me, but when I smoke I joint it smells and tastes like a brush fire, which is pretty much what it is, because it's a burning, raw plant. But when I press flower to make rosin, and smoke that in a clean glass banger, just hot enough to release the terps and get the most amazing taste and feel in my sinuses from them.

The best thing is to celebrate smoking. Take your time... Forget the world... Just needed 20 minutes to roll a 1g blunt. It is the most beautiful blunt I have ever rolled. I smelled it, I touched, I smelled it again... Now I drink some green tea and I feel the tension... In just some minutes I will smoke it. Also have some chocolate, fruits, a mango smoothie and a candle with water to vaporize with some meditation Zen oil. Later I will listen to music, meditate , watch documentaries. Since the beginning I try celebrate. It makes me sad that most of the guys just smoke it blindly and don't try to be conscious and just smoke too much too frequently. At the moment my tolerance is unbelievable high. I want to go back again to where I was one year ago. Only 0.1g was enough to make me see fractals and have real deep psychedelic experience. No, do not touch your buds unless you want to make your cannabis less potent. Your fingers sieve off the trichomes, you literally removing them from the flower. That's why we invented beautiful grinders to preserve most of the trichomes and it also gives us the ability to roll really aesthetic joints without kinks in them. Grinding the weed is important. How to roll is an art ;-)
I always felt that the grinder removes more trichomes, depending on how you break it apart, i do not just grab a huge chunk smashing it as im picking it off it it's possible. I use the very tips of my fingers to break apart to touch less of the flower itself. My grinder though it does collect kief very very slowly, i feel that the teeth of the grinder is ripping the flower more than my hands can do, and i feel less high after using a grinder.

The thing about using a grinder is you get the bud ground evenly unlike what we do with our hands which leaves air pockets in the joint which leads to canoeing.
Are you kidding me, I'll utilize my fingers, as you get to experience the flower structure and how the clusters are positioned and need to be broke down is different for different flowers, tactile, loss of potency is miniscule and if you can break a flower down into small even sized pieces then you need practice. On that note I stick to pipes haha

I have high standards since being spoiled by having access to some high quality while living in British Columbia a few years ago... If i were to purchase my own house or land I would try. Unfortunately my current living conditions force me to buy legal or risk being ripped off by scam artists. I know there are good guys too within the grey markets, but they are being destroyed by the big badguys right now. The current state of the market is dangerous for the regular ent.
