New subscriber. Good luck on the channel. Great collection. Also like Weller 12. Last year, I picked up 4 bottles of Weller 12 for $44.95 each in one day. It was Limit 1, so had to visit 4 different stores. My favorite bourbon of 2023 was Michter’s 10 Year Bourbon. Was able to get 2 bottles of it. 🥃
Great collection! The Woodford Double Double was part of the Experimental Series but they decided to keep making it. The label has changed since your bottle but still very hard to get. Woodford Double Oak is less complex but is a wonderful daily driver. Weller 12 is excellent as well. You didnt miss on any of these bourbons. Subscribed.
I completely agree with you on the Weller 12 (despite it being an unpopular opinion). Last few bottles I’ve had have been absolute flavor bombs of that signature BT/Weller caramel/red fruit finish after a hint of sweet oak. The FP and 107 are great as well, but imo the 12 is king!
Love the Double Oak Woodford as well. I think the 1910 might be a little better taste worse nose though. I did get a Store Pick on the DO and it was a little deeper/dark vs the shelf DO (sweet).
I haven’t had this 2023 yet. Planning on opening it in September and giving it a review. The few I’ve had from previous years have been overall good but in my opinion hit or miss.
Great video! If you have not opened that Penelope 9 year, I would highly recommend doing a video on it. It is fantastic. Best Penelope by far and I went back to get 2 more bottles after I tried it. First release since MGP bought them and this was a ‘statement release’ in my opinion. It is really delicious.
I have tried the toasted and it was my fav Penelope up to this 9yr release. I thought the toasted was a little bit grain forward - which is not present at all on the 9yr @@thekychew
EC is one of my favs. The taoated barrel is outstanding.
I came over from the land of Islay single malts and also started with Buffalo Trace distillery products. Cheers.

Nice selection Sir. I am still looking for a Rock Hill Farms that is not WAY overpriced. I understand secondary price but not at 5X. Cheers
Thank you 🥃. My first Rock Hill Farms was a wedding gift, extremely generous. I’m a sucker for the bottle but do really like the Bourbon.
No Four Roses?? If you haven't tried it, IT'S A MUST HAVE!!!!
Starting to get in to 4 roses now. Looking to add them to my collection!
I used to get 1.75 of 12 year Weller for $36 , on the shelf! 😂
The good ol days…😂

Single Malt Scotch is the Mountaintop

Where’d you get the Michters 10?
My almost empty bottle was a gift. The 2nd bottle I made a trade
How old are you? This is the problem with bourbon today "Collectors"
Too much bs. I just want to know your picks
Nice collection BTW
Thank you! I watched the Rye documentary you recommended. Really enjoyed it.
