My Cancer Sister always came to me, for advice, when her life was totally falling apart. The fact that she even came to me was an absolute complement to me, showed how much she respected my opinion, & that she realized I would never intentionally hurt her. She also confided in me & told me very personal & hurtful stuff that I KNOW she never shared with anyone else. I could say anything to my Cancer Dad as long as I first underscored that my respect for him as my Father would never waiver. They both knew I never lied & I'm the only one in the family they didn't lie to. My Sister would change the subject & my Dad would say, "I don't know what you're talking about" & then change the subject. I, in return, would just drop the subject.

That is such a turn off for Cancers, they can't realize that we only live once, but they prioritize not to spend money instead of having a good lunch in family, both have job and savings, they always go for the cheaper. I don't blow it on BS stuff but if there is something I really want, I don't even consider the cost, I just go for it. However, when I was younger & money was really tight, I was a crazy person when it came to how am I going to pay my bills. I learned to relax when it comes to money because, for some reason, G-D always provides for me. I don't know why, but HE's got me covered on that score. BTW- Most people are penny wise & pound foolish. I had to prove to my Libra Mom that the chintzy steaks she bought cost more money than the veal scallopini that I bought. She just saw $15/lb & walked past the veal & then yelled at me for getting it. When we got to the check-out counter, she wound up paying $8/meal each for Dad & her, & I wound up paying $5/meal for me. A lady behind us said, "I'm just like your Mom & I never stopped to figure that out". She put all her groceries back into her cart & went to the butcher area to buy veal scallopini.
