This was absolutely wonderful. Didn't realize what you could do with washi tape. I liked all three, but my fav was the 3rd one, more detail but ❤'d it! Thanks 😊
I loved this video. The second card is my favorite ! I’m going to give this a go since I have tons of washi and need to use it up. Hugs and thanks for the inspiration
Great ideas, I made Christmas cards one year with the washi in different directions and they looked great but I need to do more as I have loads of sets and a ton of Planner society washis too tfs xxx💕
I love these, especially the terrarium one! And I'm glad you showed how to make the paper rosette because I've never tried them before but now I know how to!
TinySquidRachel oh really! Well I’m glad I kept it in then! There is another way to do them which is sturdier - but this way is best for cards/Scrapbooking ☺️ hope you have/had a go at making them! 💙
All the tapes in this video are from First Edition washi tape tubes - there are links in the description but as this video is over 2 years old now you may have trouble finding places to buy them 🙂
MRS STATIONERY & STUFF aww thank you Laura ☺️☺️ I don’t know what to say - my brain just constantly farts out craft ideas instead of anything actually useful 😂
I has a tiny confession... I am a crafter but don’t own a single roll of washi. (**LIES! I have ONE singular roll. But it has black cats on it & my lovely Luna passed away last year & now it makes me sad. So now even that one roll hates me.) But I digress... It’s like when people have aversions to food because of ‘a consistency thing’. I have an aversion to ‘sticky things’. It’s a tactility thing. Yes it causes craftnormous problems, but washi is one I can control. But that 3rd card is so so pretty that it’s making me sad I can’t do washi. I know I have some metallic copper card stock somewhere. It’s in the human species to adapt. I WILL make a card with all of the lovely lovely lines! **stands tall, proud & resolute** (**LIES!... still lying in bed, but the determination is there**) Wow! One card. So many emotions!
I totally get it, my thing is I can’t stand powdery substances on my hands. Like flour... urgh. I cannot do any baking that requires touching dry flour (so no kneading or anything like that). It’s only really a problem for crafting when I use the little anti-static bags for embossing. Urrrrrrrgh just the thought makes me shudder.
I am just like you! No washi tape....well, until today. I have avoided the fad but alas, have now joined in. Don't plan on keeping a huge stash. Just got enough to try it out and see if I like using it as I saw a video that used it for a Christmas card and it was really cool. Now am looking for other ways to use it as it's waaaaay tooooooo early to be ahead of the game and making Christmas cards.
Hi there...could you not score at the 1cm and at every odd numbers on one side and then turn and score the even numbers? That would have been easier...just saying :)
Hi - didn’t want to read and not reply but I’m afraid I really don’t remember 😅 this video is four years old now but for some reason is getting a wave of new views! I think I would have used a lightweight cardstock but again, don’t remember for sure, sorry!
While I've seen others do the rosette I've never seen someone score it...brilliant! Wonderful ideas!

Silly question. Did you use white card stock or copy/printer/laser paper for the rosette strip?
