The newcomers striding in like they own the place are the cool cats, the bouncer is the beefy dude that deals with the roudy ones, the crocodile people are the lounge lizards, the donkey is the sad eeyore trying to drown his sorrows, and the dogs are The old dogs - the regulars that think they own the place - while the cobra was likely the snake - the guy with a grudge with someone (in this case the staff zebra lady) that is just bidding their time to strike.

The crane visited the fox, who didn't want to serve dinner for the crane but didn't want to outright turn her away because that'd be rude; she served soup in a flat plate and so the crane couldn't eat it because of her beak, but said nothing because she thought it'd be like demanding she be fed. The crane goes hungry, but some other day she hears (or is told, depending on the version) the vixen bragging about being smart and how she got out of giving the crane any food with her plate trick. The crane decided to give her a taste of her own medicine, inviting her over and serving soup inside bottles; the crane's beak could reach in, but the fox couldn't. The vixen at the end does get humbled, and decides that she shouldn't use politeness against polite people. These two could be a reference, people who don't get along but pretend they do or maybe something about social obligations.
For those who don't know, the term "Lone digger" means someone who loves the music playing, though no one else does. In this video, the "lone digger" is the stripper. Everyone is fighting and/or dying, and she's the only one enjoying the music- too distracted by the song to notice or care about the blood.

I have loved Caravan Palace for a long time. I recommend checking out some of Parov Stelar's older stuff for a slightly different but equally awesome take on electroswing, with songs like Catgroove or Booty Swing.
Caravan Palace were the last group I saw live last year, just before concerts stopped being a thing. They do indeed provide an excellent night out. ^_~
I know i am late with this opinion or whatever! it is kind of a repeat from the comment sectionon on the actual video., but the dancer lady is that lone digger is how i understand it.. she just is so into the song that everything that happens around her doesent register until the song ends. i might be wrong here but i thought that was a good explination.
