A loss for the Spartans (unless they are blown out again) doesn't mean much for the program as they weren't expected to be good this season. On the flip side, a victory for Michigan means the program is not completely broken and thier is hope for the future. A loss for the wolverines means they are a very long way from being back in the national or even conference title picture.

Way too many of them are devoid of context, and have no quantitative discernment for intangibles like coaching, technique etc (they’re called intangibles for a reason yes).
I think MSU will win with a final score of 27-14. Mich secondary will focus too much on Marsh leaving either Alante brown, Foster, or Glover quite open for a TD... Carter punch 1 more TD in. 1 more coming from either Marsh, Velling or a rush by Chiles. Jonathan Kim kicks in 2 FGs from the 40s and 30s respectively. Michigan offense improved a little bit scoring 2 rush TDs but their one dimensionality ultimately spells their demise. Factoring home environment advantage, 21-14 or 28-21 is possible. But I think MSU wins by a TD or 2 this year. Weather could also affect the outcome... It's late October, if it rains and turn both teams into rugby teams, then Michigan will have a slight advantage since they have a solid front 7.
I am at a loss for words to describe how bad this Michigan Football team is. They may have a worse team than the 2020 team did by the time it's all said and done.
I think Chiles has mostly tamed the turnover problems but the rushing offense won't look as good as against Iowa. I think this game will be decided on special teams. MSU looked elite at kicker last week but vulnerable in defending kick off returns. U of M also has an excellent kicker.
You nailed it, Michigan is trending downwards. What confuses me most is how they weren’t able to assess the QB position prior to the season and bring in a transfer. You just won the national championship. You should’ve made that priority 1. I think that harbaugh liked what we have and it’s a scheme and coaching issue where they’re not able to maximize the potential of the talent. Anyway, this season is way too exciting and I have plenty of football to watch other than Michigan.

we're past the point of having must wins.... unless you're playing to get a bowl game. Our big 4 shouldnt suit up again. They should be prepping for the draft
I think this is an extremely important game for Sparty! I also think The Spartans have an amazing defensive line that will limit the run game. Forget the fact that Michigan doesn’t have a decent quarterback you’re not gonna be able to beat Charles Brantley deep anyway. Michigan will score most likely on a turnover. However The Spartans will control the game like last week vs Iowa for a big win 31-17. GO GREEN!
I just don’t think the offense has it in them at all. I don’t think Michigan is capable of scoring more than 20 points in a game after the regression we saw in the Illinois game. If chiles limits the turnovers to 1 or less Michigan cannot win this game

MSU WR room is better than UM with Nick Marsh, Montorie Foster and Aziah Johnson. Nick Marsh is outstanding. MSU TE Jack Velling is due for a breakout game.
