There is a difference between thrifting and going to a vintage store. Thrifting is going to goodwill or Salvation Army. Going to a Vintage store means u r going somewhere that the items are curated
I love thrifting and would do it all the time in high school and I still do today. But it’s just so frustrating now because people go and swipe the entire store of anything that remotely has a flip value. The grails and super dope steals are far and few now.

If you come across a shirt that you thinks got dry rot, find the edge of the seam and just give it a little pinch and pull and if it easily rips then it’s dry rot. I’ve found some of my favorite craziest pieces in the women and kids sections. Especially my crewnecks. I think I’ve found most of my crewnecks in the women’s section. And I’m my opinion the “thrift stores” are the goodwills, Salvation Army, value village, family thrift, and whatever your local area calls them. These Kindve stores are in my opinion a “Resell” store or a “Vintage” store. Because those stores mark up the prices. At a goodwill most prices are 1-10$ range depending on your area or location and condition.
I understand for video purposes it's easier to go to a resale thrift store but, I'd be dope if y'all could do an outfit challenge again or tips live in a thrift for one video ... also should talk about different thrift story's like then bins , rags etc
Yo Richie at 5:27 that aviator leather jacket I think is from WW2 when the US 🇺🇸 were Allies with Taiwan 🇹🇼 I’m a Taiwanese immigrant and an US Marine so that jacket would mean a lot to me is there anyway I can know where did you find that?
5:30 The flag on the back of that jacket is the flag of Republic of China during WWII and the texts mostly like were saying: the pilot who wears that jacket is a US soldier who came to China to help the Chinese people to fight the Japanese invaders and Chinese locals show give him food and send him to the closest US military base in exchange of money(most of the time it says gold). I’m not sure if this jacket is from the WWII era but if it is then it should belonged to a Flying Tiger member who fought in and with Chinese people during that time period.
what i hate about streetwear like supreme is that everyones wearing the same pieces bogos, tnf collab, etc..... meanwhile vintage has more unique items. like ive never seen that kanye tee hes wearing. it stands out

Plus when you buy older clothes you also buy into the history and can appreciate it more but stay ignorant bro
