Great advice! YT recommended your vid. Just joined your channel. Editing is such a pain . A love hate rship . Took me 3+ years of procrastination to finally launch and just crossed over the 100 sub mark. Def have to niche down
Hands down one of my favorite videos on RUclips. Great camera and sound quality man! And the information of the video is insanely great, and your way of talking is very soothing. Love thisss! Keep it up!!!
Yeah I have a food review channel and spend weeks uploading it . Not much time to edit. Then don't want to load a video I'm not happy with. FatBassterds is the channel name. Video is Shankum Nachos. Lol It's 90 minutes so been trying to shorten it.
Ha yeah 90 mins might be a bit long to watch you making your awesome nachos. Haha. But you are right. I used to be the same. Perfectionism over realism is definitely an attitude I suffer from. Not so much now though. Forget the big edit and get it infront of people!
It's a good video, but you didn't cut out all the "ums" and long pauses as you mentioned were necessary. I watched the video at 2x speed. I think your audience retention drastically drops because this video is longer than it needs to be.
Hey thanks for your comment. The point I'm trying to make is that if editing is taking too long as a beginner due to taking too long to edit then don't edit. To try and film what you want to say in one take and then post. That's the reason I left the video raw and unedited. Of course the option is there to cut the ums and ahs and pauses out of you feel competent to use editing software. But overall not wholly necessary as a beginner to just get into the habit of making videos and posting.
Haha. I just woke up to a few extra subs and comments so they must have done me a favor during the night haha. Thanks for watching and commenting and welcome to my channel
That's my goal tbh. Right now I'm trying to be raw and in the moment with what I want to talk about. I think by focusing on doing that is helping me ease into this talking to the camera thing. I still find it awkward but I've only done the 4 videos. I can feel some confidence building though thanks to people engaging and things like that. So batch recording 3 videos for the week will definitely be what I will do.
Hey thanks so much for checking out my video. I really appreciate it 😊😊. Ahh AlenLodge is great. Her videos really inspired me to just get started with this youtube channel.

Why don't you film all 3 videos for the week on the same day?
