For some reason inking with a dip pen is more entertaining to watch than fineliner, something about the ink flow I think. But like, that bunny is so cute! Is it a familiar like prickels? If so is it also part plant?
I love inking with dip pens the lines just always feel nice to me for some reason. The bunny is a flower familiar his lil butt tail is a chrysanthemum x
This video is so so helpful, I just bought a dip pen to try it out and this video is really helping me! Also the ink spill, I had that once with green ecoline, I was really sick and I knocked over the bottle and let’s say I was lucky, since the piece was ruined at the back, but you couldn’t see it at the front. Anyways I recently subscribed and love your art work, thank you for the helpful tips!
Hello hun x here is an amazon link to the book but its rather pricey on there as its a pretty old book now. If you can find a decent priced version I can recommend it highly. Especially with the dip pen tips teenage me learned so so much x www.amazon.co.uk/dp/1569709173/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_kaVVFb2ZX22Q3
I love using my dip pens. They are my go to when I’m not away from home. Do you have any tips for cleaning them? Mine are always a mess no matter how many times I clean them.
Could you make a tribute piece to Deltarune? It's an Undertale game and it is an AMAZING game! I would love to see your interpretation of the game through your art! Also I loved the video! I love your art.
I see some youtubers tend to draw thicker lines and more details in the background.... then thinner and less detailed in the front.... I guess everyone has different preferences.
I think it comes down to what you want in focus in the illustration. Of you are more in focus with the background the foreground will be more blurred and lines less in focus. It totally depends on what you want the viewer to focus on x
Okay looking into it I only can get amazon links for the UK store I have found it here form the US store if this helps FidgetGear Kuretake Zig Cartoonist Dip Pen Nibs and Holders Set www.amazon.com/dp/B07NPF8TZ7/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_DPcCCb108KBAE

I would say that I enjoyed this video immensely as a timelapse of you drawing, but not so much as a "inking tips" video

Why is it that when i use a dip pen it spreads and is really thick even though i lightly draw?
Another question came to my mind; how does one know a nib is finished Thank you
