The years 2020 and 2021 were great for revealing the people with good decision making skills and actual faith in God's protection.

Thank you guys. You inspired me to have a conversation with my husband about my submission and his leadership. It brought me a lot of peace and I'm really excited to be focusing on it more in our marriage. Thank you for being an inspiration for this counter cultural life

Good to see you again! Thank you for talking about this, I’m just realising the importance of male headship and realising that my church is not aligned with this.

We were also frustrated with church and didn’t go at all for a while. Your new church sounds very much like what we finally found and we didn’t know it existed either! However, like you, we had to be willing to go to a different denomination but it was SO worth it!

I attend a church that basically closed down for more than a year because of Covid. At the time, my wife and I (along with the kiddos) were getting heavily involved in the church, visiting most days (if the doors were open, we were there) of the week and sacrificed a large portion of our income towards the new building project on top of our tithes and offering. However, it never felt burdensome…actually it felt great, consistent contact and fellowship with like minded believers does wonders for your walk with God…it’s especially important for children.
After the shutdowns ended, I’ve had a hard time getting back into like we were before especially knowing that leadership openly acknowledges it could happen again. Strange thing is: our church actually had its best years financially during the shutdowns (thanks big Govt/ PPP).

Love this! I want a church like you are describing. Not happy where I am at. ❤

It is a lot of work to be a content creator, but we missed you. It is difficult to believe that either of you are awkward. 🤣 Always appreciate your thoughtfulness and honesty. I grew up in a denomination, and attended different denominations, but as an adult prefer non-denominational churches. I noticed a difference between the men-led ones, and the others that let their wives run too much.

My fiance and I are looking for a church in his area; I'm currently established in a church I love but will be moving 6 hrs away when we marry. So hard to not compare to my current church family. Great video and I've loved watching so many of Kellis homemaking videos too 😊

I don’t see the Spotify “the secret to a happy marriage” episode posted on here, so I’ll ask my question on this episode-
Kelli- what are the 5 easy crockpot meals you make? I need to make mess for my Bible study and i always resort to premade salads, or Trader Joe’s frozen teriyaki chicken and white rice.

We have changed denominations several times in the past. We are now most comfortable in Bible churches. Just curious which denomination you settled on. I grew up Reformed so I'm guessing it might be more of that leaning since the churches growing up always had lots of kids in the sermon. Just curious if you don't mind sharing!

Amazing what PRAYER will do. We visited around and found nothing.
All the sudden we saw a family modestly dressed with four children and said “We should ask where they go to church.” Turns out, the church had all the ideals we looked for. They have NO WEBSITE and God led us to the perfect place!

If curious, we found an anabaptist church in our journey.

Thank you for sharing such a great testimony of God's faithfulness in directing your steps! And I love the idea of seeing a family who dress modestly and ask them where they go!! and the no website, haha that's great.

Are you born again Christians? We go to a Bible Baptist church that believes the King james version bible. There are many bible versions but God has preserved only one Bible. We believe Jesus is God and that He came to earth and died on the cross for our sins and rose again the third day. We have put our faith and trust in Him! We care not about the title "baptist," but rather that our church preaches Gods holy words and not how they feel or their opinion. That's a perfect fit! Thank you for your desire to dress modestly. I believe God will bless your efforts as He has mine! ~Ayla
