The Night of Pittsnogle. It was raining 3 point bombs from the parking lot. But we just had that HEART of a team that would not be denied. Easily the most intense and adrenaline rushing game I’ve probably ever watched with a bunch of friends. Not to mention, but Gus Johnson commentating is the perfectly added compliment for such a legendary game. Never Forget.
Yep. When Kansas lost to Michigan in OT (S16), I suspected that was who we would face in the championship game. The Sweet 16 matchup with Oregon was notable in that Dana Altman coached Creighton when we lost to them in 1999 and when WVU beat them in the 2005 Round of 64.
Crazy stat: West Virginia was 18/27 from three (all 18 were made in regulation). Louisville made 11 the whole game. Beilein ran a Princeton offense which some of its elements are seen in teams like Virginia and Wisconsin.
Love this team. I couldn't even watch the last part of the 1st half I had to go take a walk around the neighborhood, when I came back and saw we were only down 12 at the half I knew we'd win

I forgot how much heart and grit this team had. Played with everything they had. What a great run!
This is why I love to press. Brings back good memories. Go Cards ❗ Krazy we got him again in the championship game when he coached at Michigan.

I bleed blue all day every day, but I don’t hate Louisville and I liked this team a lot.
“and west virginia 7 minutes and 30 seconds away from a trip to the final four” hmmm 🤔
Crums Revenge. Go back to Bullitt County.
