hello, i have a hot air rework station but i find it difficult to heat up the silicon holding the glass cover to the panel. they still remain stuck even if i try separate them after heating. what can i also use toake separation easier? thank you in advance
Some flood lamps have thick sealant yo may also try using a strong sewing thread just insert the middle of the thread in one of the end of the flood lamp then pull both end of the sewing thread back and fourth to detach the silicon sealant

You touch the glass with your bare hands after heating ?
The temperature is not set high enough to hurt my hands besides i have thick skin in my hands.high temp will deform the plastic back cover
