Who We Admire With EDS || EDS & HSD Awareness Month 2020

- I cannot believe that EDS (Ehlers Danlos Syndrome) & HSD (Hypermobility Spectrum Disorder) awareness month has come round quite so quickly again! This is the beginning of my 4th annual set of EDS awareness month videos which bring together people from across the world with different types of EDS & HSD to raise awareness and tell you what it is like to live with these conditions on a daily basis. It would mean the world to us if you could share and help raise awareness this EDS awareness month 2020.
This week I asked my wonderful dazzle of zebras to tell me about some of the people with EDS who they admire and who inspires them. It could be anyone from a family member or friend to a celebrity or influencer. Have a listen and you might learn about someone new with EDS, you might not even realise they had it.

Awesome video. I feel very grateful that you asked me to be part of this video over IG. I am sorry I was not able to this year. I am recovering from spinal cord surgery (tethered cord) and just was not up to filming. Sending lots of love to my fellow EDS warriors!

For the EDS challenge with that question, I actually thought "arg, I made a picture with Sia, now everyone in this video will talk about her and Jameela Jamil, I probably should change my idea". Then I see the video and surprise, no Sia ! :D I knew a few of these zebra strong people and look forward to check the others. Thank all of you for this video ! Wonderful video as always on EDs awareness vids- ty!! I def admire both you, for being so real and letting me know it’s up and down, good and bad days, and ok to cry. I also admire Izzy, and am proud to actually call her a real life friend, as I live only an hour from her and we’ve met a few times now. Her videos were some of the first I found when going through genetic dx and she’s educated me soooooo much with her extroidinary videos. I’m so sorry you are not getting to travel to the us due to this virus, to meet her. When you do make it over the pond, I would absolutely love to meet up with you in nyc!!
