As a Bolts fan from day 1, congrats to the Colorado Avalanche. Very hard-fought series, the Cup is absolutely well-deserved. The Bolts were visibly gassed, but full credit to the Avs locking down on D in the 3rd and staying on the attack - even as a ⚡fan I could recognize the Avs doing exactly what the Bolts had done so many times blocking shots, winning puck battles, and locking down late (felt like 2020 Finals game 6, but in reverse, ugh). Absolute war of attrition with the number of guys injured on both teams. Some people want new teams every year in the Finals, but I would love to see a rematch and hoping this was just the 1st battle in a 'dynasty war'. "The king is dead, long live the king (until next year anyway)". Feeling some moderate pain as a Lightning fan, but still so proud of the effort they gave throughout - this whole playoff run was fueled by experience, will, and old man strength. Once again though, full credit to the Avalanche - if the Cup can't party on a boat at least get it really baked and take it for a ride on a ski lift or something! Apologies if the Cup has a vague, blended scent of alcohol, fine Cubano cigars, and Hooters waitress, Florida Man has no idea how that happened and totally has nothing to do with it🙃.
Asan Avs fan, ai really wanted it to be Tampa in the Final. If we are going to earn it, it might as well be from beating the juggernaut. If we lost, well I can't think of a team out east I would be more okay losing to.
One thing I noticed, Tampa is hard to hate. Every other team in the playoffs the last few years has had at least a few players it is just easy to hate and a lot of fans who are just low class to put it nicely. To be fair, Tampa has some of those fans, but very very few compared to the fans who know and respect the game of hockey and whom you could easily see yourself drinking a beer with. Hopefully our fan base will behave with the same kind if class Tampa's did, because I think our organization definitely does.

Lived in CO for 6 years till 2019. As a Sharks fan I went to atleast 3 games a year. Their fans really are good sports and great people. Happy for the city of Denver to dethrone the Lightning. Good for them!
This was my first year really watching Hockey and I fell in love with the game!
Great Season! Can’t wait for the next one!
🏒🏒🏒
Welcome to the world of hockey!! I went to my first hockey game (minors) in 1971, and I've been a huge fan since.
It’s alright Tampa, you already won 2 in a row good series doe! And congrats to Colorado
- from Los Angeles Kings fan
I know we already won 2 in a row but it still stings to lose but Colorado definitely deserved the cup 3 shots in a period doesn’t cut it in the cup finals
With respect, a Cup Final loss always stings
The last team that I expected to put on an absolute defensive clinic while up by one goal in the third period. Who would have thought defence would ultimately secure the cup for the Avalanche! Spectacular!
Respect for the lightning but that being said to hoist cup in front of home team lightning fans was bittersweet. A different gratification than winning in Denver but winning 16 games to win the cup who cares! Go AVALANCHE. I’ll call local hospital to monitor my heart tomorrow it has been 21 years! 🙂
I'm a Caps fan, but I was pulling for the Avs this whole series. Congrats to Corado, just wish yall would've won at home Friday night
Leafs fan here just happy Lightning didn't win 🤣👌 congrats Avalanche 🎉🎉
best announcer ever! man brings me back to the early 90s! Chris is awesome
Congrats to the Avalanche. As a Coyotes fan I'm really happy for Kemps
The Coyotes got a lot of work to do but much respect for being a true fan
I WAS ALWAYS AN AVS FAN SINCE DAY 1 WE THE GOATS LETS GOOO
Great season by the Avs. By far the best team in the NHL this year
This will bring me tears of happiness for my lifetime as well as chills amd goosebumps!! Can't wait for the parade tomorrow!! GO ASS!!!!
LET’S GO BABY!!!! I’M SO DAMN PROUD OF THESE GUYS!!!!! WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS!!!!!!!
Congrats avs! Not a huge fan of hockey but my best man and best friend is an avs fan so I’ve always loosely followed them. He texted me after the college football national championship saying “your Braves won the WS, your dawgs won the natty, now maybe my avs will lift the cup.” I said it’s gonna happen bro. Here’s to you Ryan! Congrats AVS!!!
Congrats to Colorado from a Vancouver Canucks fan!
Just reliving the best day of all time
Same :')
From a Oilers fan in Edmonton . . . See you next year
Grats avs
Lol yeah ok bud
I was 5 years old when they won it the last time. Back to back cup wins would be nice, but knowing I got to experience my team win at least one Cup in my life is something I will never forget.
What a ride this was . Blessed to see another cup win but 2 in a row and chance to defend and win a 3rd? No more deserving team than the Avalanche and Joe Sakic ...this team could win 3 in a row ...so much talent .
FINALLY A TAMPA FAN THAT ISN’T SALTY ABOUT LOSING.
I come from colorado. Fort Collins to be exact. I am very glad to see that the Avs have won the Stanley Cup and brought some Glory to our great state
HOCKEY HAS BEEN SAVED FROM THE LIGHTNING! Well done to the Avs for fighting all the way and retrieving their Cup for the 1st Time in a long time!
As a Rams and Kings fan I'm happy for the Avs!!
@@F14Goose37 I would be perfectly happy watching a best-of-15 series between these 2 teams. I'm not hating on the 2019 Blues team, but this Avs team is the best I've seen from the Western Conf in years (at very least since the Blackhawks 2015 Cup team).
@@Dystopia1111 I could definitely go for best of 15.
Your Bolts played their hearts out. Great series, two excellent teams.
Thanks Joe, thanks to the new generation of avalanches ✊️
as a Stars fan, I am so glad you guys dethroned the cocky lightning. . . . . THANK YOU!
This will never get old to me. It was the last time I talked to my best friend before he was murdered a couple weeks later…
Proud to see Kadri become a champion and the Perry curse lives on lol
Congrats to colorado from a bolts fan. They did what they had to do! Knocked us off the mountain. I’m proud of my bolts I love my bolts. I’m even more proud of my fellow Tampa bay folks who I walk amongst in society. I like the way you guys stayed and congratulated the avs. Class act
Was nice to see the decent reception even after the loss, I agree totally. Classy Tampa last night.
@@Laking86erthey deserve it man I can’t do nothing but congratulate that
Congrats to Helm second player (Ewe Krupp) to win a Cup with the Redwings and Avalanche. One of the best rivalries throughout the history of Sports.
Yo Krupp was ot winner in game 4 wasn't he?
Krupp doesn't deserve to be mentioned in Detroit's winning The Cup in 2002.
Officially, Krupp doesn't have his name on the cup with the Wings as he didn't play enough games that year
@@scrash_14 good to know, well Darren Helm is the completion to a great rivalry. Detroit Redwings fans you can be happy for this too. Those were some talented teams. Amazing time to be a fan of hockey.
The pic of ej on Nate is iconic go down in history of the emotion
You can see kucherov throwing his fit at the bench. Love it
It's nice to see someone else when the cup other than Tampa Bay
it was fun to watch the lightning win it, but it’s good to see a new NHL team win the cup. congratulations to Colorado
Congrats to the Avs. What an amazing team, top to bottom these guys are legit. Im hopeful my Knights can keep up with them next season if they stay healthy. Perhaps another playoff meeting.Heck of a team out there in Colorado.
Great series all around. Congrats Colorado!
Congrats to the Avalanche on winning their 3rd Stanley Cup and saving hockey.
Undefeated in Stanley Cup 3-0
Denver Nuggets Winning a Year after Makes it great to be From The 303 🏆🏆✋🏽
Loving that naz has won a Stanley cup.The leaf organization made a hugh mistake trading away a player like naz who has so much skill, heart and desire. Congratulations naz and Colorado avalanche.
He's not the first and he won't be the last to be traded from the leafs and win a Cup before them.
Wasnt a leaf fan but a Kadri fan when watching their games, and once with the Avs new it was a matter of time before people saw what a great hockey player he is. Had Dale Hunter vibes, my fav player from the 80s.
that hug was absolutely hilarious and emotional at the same time lol
This game was a a defensive clinic by the Avs. The fact that the Lightning had only 2 shots in the 3rd period up until 3 minutes to go is nuts.
What a tremendous series! Congrats to the Lightning for a great run...way to go Avs! See ya at the parade!!
Wonder what Cooper will complain about now...
Too many men on the ice for the celebration perhaps? 🤣
Probably the icing getting waved off, if anything.
That he didn't bribe enough this year??? ( that will be a first)
@@kyerannisbet8895 damn , you beat me to it 😆
As a Maple Leafs fan I'm really glad to see Nazem Kadri win the Cup after the great season he had this year.
