Cockatoo's are huge. Cockatiels are just under a Conure's size which are considered medium. A budgie is small.

Thing is, I’ve seen parakeets in sanctuaries with missing feet because other, bigger, parrots decided that they were pissed off that day, so I’m going to keep mine separate (even if my 2 male conures are totally in love with my female blue-fronted Amazon)

I was also uneasy the poor cockatiel looks terrified. I could never trust that big beak around such a lil guy. I never let my Sun near my GCCs and they're closer in size than these two.

I had a cockatiel and cat that were really close friends. I even left them alone together (with the cockatiel flying freely). Nothing ever happened.

You realize a cockatoo of that size could crush the tiel's head in it's beak
It COULD, but the cockatoo must see the tiel as a friend in order to preen it and know to be that gentle. It is dangerous, but the birds seem to be comfortable with each other (maybe the cockatoo moreso than the tiel lol), and are being closely supervised in the clip. I wouldn't worry too much!

What a friendly cockatoo! I'd be worried that the 'tiel would get bitten, but they seem like good friends and the 'too appears to know that "small friend=be gentle". Make sure to keep them closely supervised, though, especially if the cockatoo gets excited! One hard bite could be the end for small birb, and we wouldn't want that.

Stoned Savage! He's just saying that it was a very possible outcome of that situation. I personally wouldn't let this happen. It's funny to watch but these are two very different birds.
It's very obvious by the birds body language and demeanor there is no threat. When birds don't get along or a problem is brewing it's very obvious especially to the owner. The Cockatoo is not going to go from preening to bite your face off in a split second. I let my birds preen my eyelashes and trust me thats just as scary except it's not because I know my birds very, very, very well. The owner would know in about half a second if the Cockatoo changed it attitude at all, assuming she's responsible and based on the video and these birds interaction it's obvious she is.

Cockatoos are gentle birds in general, they don't hiss much, and are careful with moving small things like the cockatiel. That's why I want a cockatoo
